Hahaha. Watts or voltage or amp or ohms, etc., I also don't know what it means.

Hopefully it can tahan few electrical items connected to it.

As long as the total W do not exceed 600W. You need to check respective gears' pwr consumption. AV receiver is the highest among all. Mine is 500W

sent my hd65 on monday for repair and the techie later calls me to say nothing wrong-PJ working normally!!

there were 2 other hd65 there for repairs.

so went back next day to collect back and now set-up working again. no problems.

have now rechecked the electrical wiring, just in case, and adjust aircon to blow into it to ensure no overheating.

so now have to hope that any problems if any happen during warranty.

Hate it when doctor says nothing wrong, when feeling sick. Or when mechanic says no problem with car.

thanks. thumbup.gif

since did not have any physical damage and couldn't replicate problem, i suspect could be overheating problem - i tend to leave PJ on standby for long periods i.e. overnight which might be a cause.

anyway, just to be safe i now shut off power after using.

I always shut it down after using it. And won't be on and off every now and then. As a precaution, I will have an interval of an hour or 2 before I on it again. Just to be safe.

The first week i bought the unit, twice i had the problem where when i switch on the unit, i get 3 red LEDs and the unit won't start. Have to switch on/off a few times only it'll on again. I m not sure if it's heat problem coz my room a bit hot that time. Now every nite i on aircond and projector together no more problem liao.

Scare scare hehe biggrin.gif

Anyone hook up other displays as backup ?

Am thinking of hooking up small lcd or old tv, for those quick moments of testing eg. sound testing (no need picture), so no need to switch on/off projector.
