Laowai fast fast show some screenshots.

Aiyah so paiseh, i haven't posted any screenshots after having the unit for 2 weeks liao tongue.gif

I set all RGB G/B to 0 and i think i m getting a more natural color on the wall. hehe.

One question, i accidentally smudged the lens with my finger while moving the projector. Tried using micro fibre, tissue, wet tissue and even glass cleaner to clean the lens but it's still oily. May i know how u all clean the lens? I know the lens is made of glass, that's why i dare to clean it, i've checked and there are no scratches hehe. But scary lah.

Just wan to clean the oily smudge lah. But it's normal to have a white patch on the lens when the PJ is on right? A very bright patch where u can see a lot of dust hehe.

Yes, there is a white patch when it is on. You will also fine particles / dust flying around your pj. I would suggest better house keeping to keep it clean.

The lens should not be touch when it is hot as it might be damaged, bro. Pls refer to the manual for the cleaning.

How's your screen project been going?

Projector is ok bro. Enjoying it every night with 720p feeds. Missus enjoying latest season of Desperate Housewives, CSI, Numb3rs etc @ 720p @ 120" hehehe. Clocked almost 30hrs already. Forgot to switch off twice already coz ter-sleep. Luckily aircond room, left it on for 7-8 hrs tongue.gif

Screen project on hold for a while. Due to minor reno, have to move my masterbedroom into the HT room. Once i free up the HT room i'll get the screen up. Now a bit itchy ass wan to modify my 106" screen to 110", have to add 2" wood to left, right and bottom of the screen. Going from 120" to 106" will be potong steam, so decided to go for 110" , in the middle hehe. But still haven't buy kain for the projector. Most prob will go for the ebay wan if i decided to buy. biggrin.gif

I m downloading the manual right now. It's a phreaking 29mb file sleep.gif'

htkaki,

I guess u r the projector guru here. Have u sold any pj to people in penang? I plan to get one installed at my father's home and the HD65 is very well priced. Is it possible for me to check out somewhere in penang?

Input and output is different, The PJ accepts 1080p signals and Downscale it to 720p or 1080i, it works like Upscaling lower quality image to 720p only the other way around biggrin.gif But some say 1080i is better and some say native 720p will produce sharper image.

Personally i prefer native biggrin.gif

Hehe i don have tv, HD65 is my only source of entertainment, so now i watch everthing in it tongue.gif

I only have STD and BRIGHT mode. How to choose ECO mode ar?

Aint a guru. Still learning blush.gif

Unfortunately, not yet. I am not sure which shop does have this. Maybe Watts at Perak Road or DSOP, which sell office stuff and they have a showroom near Penang Jetty and another showroom near Megamall Prai.

Ok, thanks. Maybe I can talk to you when I come down to KL for a viewing. I don't have good experiences with Watts. DSOP mostly sells multimedia pjs, I will check if they have pj for home theater. There are only a few AV stores in Penang and the ones that are around are not really customer oriented.

If anyone knows where in Penang I can view a pj well setup and not being sold at exorbitant prices, pls advise. Thanks in advance.

ic,my pj accept the 1080p/24Hz and downscale to 720p...so when i press display it show the signal at 1080p/24,that's only the input signal, actual output still 720p,right?

Cool bro. We can discuss in PM.

I am new to the pj scene. Been more in the plasma scene. I have seen some fantastic screen shots of the home theater pjs. My experiences with pj have only been multimedia pj so they are not good. Also the fact that the pjs in the "mamak" stalls are definately not doing justice to the true capability of the new home theater pj.
