OK, if you think so wink.gif

I suggest that you at least get a USB keyboard+mouse to use when you're docked at a desk.

Using the EEE sure gets me funny looks on the streets. A fair number of people have come up to ask me about it. Finally got 3G hooked up through my Nokia today, and it's starting to fulfill my expectations wink.gif

Actually, it is my girlfriend who wants to get one. She is going to study abroad. That's why she is currently looking for a light-weighted notebook which serves the purposes that I stated earlier. tongue.gif

Sure.. let us know how she finds it. I'm not convinced that it's the right solution, but if she uses it productively, what can I say smile.gif

Actually I think it's the right solution... my wife can happily do her stuff on even a 7" eeepc.

Does it able to stand the heat? As in if I use it for 24/7.

I'd also like to know this...

No ASUS logo at the laptop, replaced with EEE

*
Hmm...I'd prefer to have the Asus logo instead of Eee...actually how do you pronounce it? Like an exaggerated 'E' or 'e, e, e PC'??? sweat.gif

Nice chart iRonTech . Asus Eee PC seems the best for me so far. But I thought 900 doesn't have Bluetooth and neither the Atom?

Yeah they stuffed up the EEE 900 specs there - it definitely doesn't have bluetooth.

Now I'm torn between getting a $40 USB mini-bt adapter, or going for a $200 USB HSDPA modem.

Oh wait, can someone explain to me on the 4GB + 12 GB Flash thingy? I'm confused about it. This is for the Linux version right? If I install Win XP(NLite) in it, will it affect the speed and performance?

I'm also at a cross-road, wondering if I should buy EEE PC 900, MSI Wind or HP Mini...the price of EEE PC 900 isn't cheap anymore so it doesn't stand out as much as its predecessor.

if i'm not mistaken this is due to the labelling mistake by ASUS... its actually the 5200mAH but had been mislabeled. this issue was discuss in our previous thread wink.gif
