yes, i also dont understand why asus change the battery to lower capacity

for the media preview set, the battery is 5800mAh

i think the current batch for eeepc 900 is all using 4400

Asus HK will probably provide free battery upgrade for 4400mAh

installed windows xp yesterday, but still cant activate my windows, key activated too many times already..
screen resolution is much better now..

try to upgrade the ram, but seem like it cant detect my 2GB ram, tried with 2 pieces, both work in my eeepc 701 and VAIO, but not this eeepc900, weird..

saw in vr-zone forum, some users have successfully upgrade to 2gb ram..

16GB SDHC can be detected... 20GB HDD is consist of 2 SSD (4GB+16GB), 16 GB is using the miniPCI



i work in singapore

the screen resolution is much more better now.. the processor speed also is using full speed now.

900 a little bit bigger, heavier but cant really feel the different..

2 pieces of the 2gb ram i tried is kingston one..

maybe newer bios can support
or maybe it is just my set problem.. will try the ram on my company set on monday..

to me it is still the same, clear and loud enough..

by the time when i bought it still has a lot of stock, but not sure now..

i think there is one common problem for this driver, you cant put your eeepc in sleep mode..

so far the biggest is 16gb, and it can be used in eeepc 900..

eeepc900 less than 2 hours with HSDPA, eeepc701 about 2 hours with HSDPA

you can get from ebay, made in china
