Hello guys. I've been using eeepc 701 for about 11 days now, it's a very capable little machine...i have to say that. I bought it as used item from a forumer as I was looking for a cheap sub notebook. Just done a presentation using eeepc together with my new Toshiba projector...very handy indeed.

I haven't bought anything from them yet coz I've also heard of them fairly recently but then I read some posts here on LYN forum and those people who have bought from Yeahstore gave good feedback.

My gf is still not sure whether she will like to take the EEE PC 900 as the price is slightly higher than 700. Is 700 enough for her? Hmm..

How we know what is enough for her wor...??

I can get EEE PC 700, but 900 seems prettier. But the price is over my limit.
Do you guys think there will be a decrease in the price for EEE PC 900 when MSI Wind arrives?

The price RM1850 in YeahStore is for which Eee900 model? The one with Windows or the Linux version? or both selling at the same price?

To go from RM1299(701) to almost RM2000(900) makes the 900 so much less attractive even with the improvements. That's why many people are still considering other UMPCs. I guess the price will decrease only when they come out with newer model than the 900.

i dunno what i did, but suddenly my advance mode goes crazy.. i doesnt have the minimize, maximize, close button on top ,right side of the windows.

so, any of you meet this kind of problem before? if ya, how did you guy solved it?

My 2 cents:

1. 8.9" screen - higher resolution --> If you're used to resolutions above 1680x1050, 800x480 and 1024x600 is the same.. both tarak cukup. I feel the minimum acceptable resolution for myself is 1280x768
2. 12gig of ssd --> Actually no diff also.. better to use SDHC instead. More flexible. No matter 4GB, 8GB, 12GB or even 20GB is still not enough/puny compared with a regular HDD
3. celeron processor running at full speed - 900mhz --> 7" also can run the same with eeectl
4. 1.3m pixel web cam --> Only for the webcam freaks. I disabled my webcam by default
5. improve touch pad --> Multi touch loses its appeal. Guarantee you won't use it after a couple of weeks
