Where will i get new firmware like that..

iPhone 2.0 firmware is stated for early July release.

for chinese char input..jus install icosta from iLiberty+.its awesome..although i dunno how to read and write chinese..

haha, i just cra*k it, and guess what, my system out already, actually there nothing wrong with it, but i saje gatai gatai tangan copy paste all application, and as a result, my iphone cannot detect signal, cannot hear sound, even play song, no sound..

as a result, i restore it again, luckyly i use winpwn and just restore it ( but backup all personal file/song/contact using iphone pc suite )..and ok again..
but it waste my time lol.. ....

so from my experience, dont gatai gatai tangan copy and paste application since it will make ur iphone out...

Can We just download and install the coming Iphone 2.0 firmware?

Or we need to crack it again?

my iphone was already jailbroken and unlocked when i got it from the shop. so how do i know if the shop owner used what program to unlock and jailbreak it? obviously without asking the shop ler, anyway to tell from the phone itself? tq!!

Try find under Installer then go to uninstaller .. there you can see what has been installed and what has not ...

to the_mask86, i dont think there is a way to tell unless you can recall seeing a Z webicon pointing to zibri (if im not mistaken) on the springboard. if such icon did exist, then your phone was 'done' using ziphone.


but from what i can observe, most sellers prefer to use ziphone due to its "easier" nature.

question: did anyone here successfully setup streamyx pop mail in iphone and retrieve/send emails?

i have not tried it before myself per se. but when i was working in geek, when i helped one of the clients to troubleshoot his iphone, i observed that one of his email accounts is set to streamyx's. so IMHO, it will work

guys, when i install a new game or app, how come it only appear after i restart my phone? do i need to install something else so that it will restart the summerboard like last time before i flash with iLiberty? i remember i have a sw call instafresh or something. thanks.

but how come when i set the setting according to the setting in the pc and my previous pda, it state that it cant verify my email with SSL. i pun pening coz my 6120c and previous pda all share the same setting.

or is there any other program that can retrieve email like symbian's profimail..?

hmm weird eh, i dont have that prob but if i exit installer after installing apps by holding the home button around 5~7sec, YES, the newly installed apps(icon) wouldnt appear. should Re-SPRING then only the icon visible.

the instafresh as additional command to refresh installer repo by period if im were not mistaken..

oh yah, i did hold down the home button for 5-7sec, coz i m in the middle of installing other sw. maybe thats the cause, will try again. thanks.

Added on July 2, 2008, 10:32 ameh, i try to change the file permission with iphone browser and iphone pc suite, but can't leh, one of them (can't remember which), show the permission, but it says error when i load them, so there is no way to change. i only have cable, no wifi, is there anyway to change them?

i have googled, but then it says squid and mobile finder can change permission, but not for 1.1.4, which left with term-vt100, but have to key in which is troublesome. guess only term-vt100 is the only choice, anyone has the source for that?

holding the home button means quits the application, therefore while holding the button in the middle of installing an application means cancelling the installation itself.

one last try, anyone successfully setup swirly for celcom? i key in those that are listed, and even added :8080 for proxy, failed. try to key in edge APN, oso fail. i can't even use GPRS!!!!!!!!!

did u try inserting celcom's 3G MMS setting...

maybe same case like maxis.. 3g setting oni can use
