Please let me know if it works. I have tested on my modem only, not sure how well it will work properly or not on other modems.

No idea. You can try if you want. But if you used up the 10 attempts of wrong code it might permanently lock your modem if I'm not mistaken.

Oh? There is a limit? laugh.gif

Can the network lock be removed by flashing the firmware to official huawei?

can someone help me figure this out?

1) the 1.5gb package with free modem, pay RM150 upfront, get rebated for 5 mths

vs

2) the 2gb Home Value package. i believe comes with free modem too. pay RM118 upfront, but u get 2 mths free, 3rd month onwards @ RM48

I find the 2gb home value package to be better. Higher cap, but i pay RM12 more (for first 2 mths only).

Am I correct, or is there hidden charges for the packages?

If i terminate in month 4 for Home Value, will I get charged any fee?

for package 2, i understand that they will give u a ZTE modem...this modem is not like ur ordinary home modem (its for some 3G thingy, not reli sure too)....

are u below 25 of age?..if u are, then u can take the youth package (assuming u got ur own modem that is)

Speaking of youth package, I'm planning to go for the RM48/month with modem plan first, then change to youth plan. biggrin.gif

the 1.5gb package modem is the small type...like those huawei E**** type...u know, like thumbdrive...

but the home value ones is like the ADSL type...BUT it's not ADSL...it's for Maxis 3G...and it needs 2b fixed at home...the size is like ur usual modem at home...

the modem is good too...not to say that it is bad...BUT its not as mobile as the thumbdrive type.. smile.gif

rebate?...not so sure about tat....termination charge?...if u subsribe to 1.5GB and GET their modem, then u needa pay RM150.00 upfront...then every month u only pay RM18.00 for 5 months...

ON the 6th month, baru u pay Rm48.00..tat means u pay Rm150.00 upfront for the modem, then every month rebate from ur bill....meaning every month RM48.00 minus Rm30.00 FOR 5 months...

If u cancel before 5 months, u cant get ur Rm150.00 back, BUT u can keep the modem...its like u bought the modem lah... smile.gif
