If I subscribe the RM48/month plan, do I pay only RM48/month even after the 5th month?
The so called "RM78/month Usual Price" doesn't mean anything right?

QUOTE(dyaf @ Apr 4 2010, 05:48 PM) From what i have heard during conversation with the customer service agent, it is rebate every month of RM30 for 5 months if you are getting the package with modem. (RM150). So, each month you are only paying RM18 until the 6th month, you pay the RM48. For package without modem, you have pay to RM48 upfront for the first month. Anyway, I could be understanding it differently. Any others who have called the maxis customer service? (number is 123 for maxis mobile holder / 0374922123) Ok, I get the rough idea. I just want to make sure that it won't become RM78 after certain promotional period. With the great deal, who wouldn't want the package with modem? There seems to be no extra charges after all. There's also Advanced Lite Youth for RM48/month. The difference I see is only no free modem and larger quota per month. Assuming I'm a very casual user, it feels that the normal RM48/month with modem package is more worth. |

QUOTE(future80 @ Apr 4 2010, 08:32 PM) only not worth is quota only 1.5G. need maintain 50Mb everyday. it is very fast to getting 50Mb perday as if 1 email has 10Mb attachment, 5 email would used up 50Mb. I don't think I'll exceed 1GB also. I just want to use it to remain connected when I'm out. I have streamyx at home for the downloads. |

QUOTE(future80 @ Apr 4 2010, 11:47 PM) Perhaps it's just the way I use internet, my home streamyx data usage does not exceed 2GB/month on average. What's the likelihood of me using more than 1GB on mobile internet? QUOTE(KKW @ Apr 5 2010, 12:58 AM) Oh, any specific forum or website where such discussion are active? |

QUOTE(karheng @ Apr 5 2010, 01:08 PM) got many maxis dealer out there, i don believe u can't find 1...maybe everybody standby stock for coming PC fair next week? I'm actually also more inclined to wait till PC fair to see what freebies they're giving. But well, for those who wants to subscribe for E1762 now, I have a contact to get it.If you really need the package with free modem suggest not to buy RM125 first. ( sorry to the seller ) FREE modem E1762 really worth if you use it more than 5 months. Try KLCC maxis center.... |

Speaking of youth package, I'm planning to go for the RM48/month with modem plan first, then change to youth plan.
