i just realised that ive actually spent a lot on my pv6...but now it's sweet...

main things i've done:

1. overhaul
2. change gb
3. change suspension
4. change rims / tyres
5. change both bumpers

all these costs me about rm10k...but spread over several years i guess it's normal

but now one annoying problem - the headlights!!! one in front and one in back now has that condensation problem...fastest fix is to change them but to get the whole set would cost about rm800+...i think that's wayy too much for std lamps....

if anyone got good lobang for cheap-ish std lamps or aftermarket lamps...do pm me ya...or u know any good tips to repair the condensation / moisture problem...it'd be better...

happy v6ing! guys!

i dont mind anything as long as it fits perfectly and looks new and doesnt have water/ moisure in it in years to come lol...

so u got eh? how much?

pm me for individual front set and rear set...

or maybe one of each...if you set one by one ler...the problematic one are the front-right and left-rear

and yes, cheaper is better...as long as reliable...don't mind 2nd hand also smile.gif

for info...my pv6 is the first gen from year 99 but changed to alfa look...not sure if the lamps are still the same with the new pv6 alfa

the one you mentioned RM800+ for 1 set is what brand? Bosch?

I have a spare original Koito pair lying around after I swapped them out for my retrofitted HID. It looks new with no clouding or yellowing (mainly because the car is always parked indoors). if you are interested, i can let you have it for half the price you mentioned above.

retrofitted projector + angel eye is fine, but HID is not.
so i dono if JPJ will saman u or not...

but if i got the money, i'd do the demon eyes headlights.

Can fit 3 inch projectors if the retrofitter is skilled enough...perdana headlamps are slim so retrofitting a projector into it makes them look awesome because of the tight fit (like jeans on a hot model) and not "hanging" in the air like those bigger headlamps i.e. myvi, atos, new saga, etc.

can make HID "appear" yellower than halogen, if we think out of the box. so far, touch wood no issues with JPJ and I always travel around Sri Petaling area.

however, i do not want to promote or give false hope on HID usage as it is technically "illegal".

to all my pv6 brothers out there. need some advice. I'm thinking of changing my springs to Eibach but i'm thinking maybe changing the Shocks to maybe GAB with springs would be better. I travel long distance and i'm on standard 16" rims. Just want something not too hard but still comfy but with better handling la.

Nobody can give me some advise on the above subject ah ?

the car is getting old and not many new perdanas get onto the road cos so many newer models from other manufacturers within that price range, unless you are talking about the cheapest V6 in the market (correct me if i'm wrong)

salam bro neuro and hi guys..long time not check in this topic...
i've a few questions ..
after overhauled my v6,i can feel that it became less responsive..the pick up is slow and heavy..
it's hard for me to overtaking..why eh? is't got any relation with GB since it's the original one since 2000
n another one is when my car accelerate ,between 80-100km/h,i can feel the car vibrating ,the worst is my left passenger seat will shake like earthquake .
