doesn't related to the ballast wattage output? i saw few seller selling BOSCH HID ler. just bout RM180. how come so cheap?

Hi V6 bros, any tips on buying a used V6 ?

bosch does not manufacture HID...they have a separate company called Automotive Lighting (AL) for it.

clearly it is a cheap fake

do checks basically like any other used car.
ask for test drive. then drive it kaw kaw.
v6 engine is sturdy but the auto gb is weak.
so pick up kaw kaw and feel if there's any jerking or late gear change.

listen for any weird engine noise, weird noise during cornering, braking, etc.
check power window and other electronics etc..

what's ur budget? better get v6 2005 and above. got ATF cooler already.
mileage average is about 25K km per year, so if May 2005 car, mileage now will be around 125K km.

so do i thinking like tis. but got another seller claim tat his HID set is OEM & selling bout RM680. ur HID sets is it true OEM? where u get it??

mine is OEM but 2nd hand la...bought from a forummer here. if you're not sure OEM or not, you can post a pic here and I should be able to tell.

anyone here have an experiance about current leakage?..i mean your battery will lost its charge after 2 days if u are not start the engine...need your help...now everyday i have to take off the negatif terminal to avoid my battery lost its charge

this is not OEM HID, one of the obvious reason is that they are not D1/2/3/4 S/R bulbs

try to add sum voltage stabilizer or earth cable on ur car.

Hi guys I need advice. I inherited my V6 from my dad, which he got as a company car a looooong time ago . It's the original V6 '99 model if I'm not mistaken.Anyway I love my car, its mileage is reaching 150K ++ now and it never broke down, not a single problem. Nevertheless I sent it in for major servicing not too long ago.

Performance wise everything is fine, the car is as fast as when it was still new except recently, I noticed that the ride comfort is not what it used to be. Compared to my friend's 2003 Alfa-V6, the difference was very stark. The ride isn't as comfortable, smooth and solid as I remembered it to be. It's bothering me. I can feel every bump and crease in the road. Feels like riding in an old taxi.

Since I am a car noob (lulz) . I haven't the slightest of clues about what to do. Could it be the tires ? Do I need to change the shock absorber ? The springs ? Both ? Do all three ? What brands ?

Any advice would be appreciated.

yes...fyi, michiba is not exactly an OEM manufacturer. neither does PIAA. Both are considered "expensive ciplak stuff" in the automotive lighting world.

any recommendation for normal perdana v6 tires good driving and longer lasting.
