u can't change destination/origin online, u just can change date & time. Maybe u need to call Air Asia to ask for correction, tell them u selected wrong origin, but u will need to top up if the new fare is more expensive. if it is cheaper than no refund. I m sure that it will be more expensive coz online price & via phone operator is different. u must call immediately.

Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone can help me.

My husband and I booked an AA Go Holiday package online to Phuket. But due to unforseen circumtances, we are required to be back to KL a day earlier than what was pruchased.

Can we change the date on our return tickets? How much is the change fee if so? We bought the package on regular pricing.

Thanks in advance.

If you bought travel insurance, you may be able to claim the fare for your return flight under certain circumstances, else you have to buy a new return flight.

Dear Mr.Calvin,

We thank you for writing in to us.
We are unable to change your destination, due to two reasons.
1) It is our policy destination change is not allowed once booking is confirmed
2) If we allow as a gesture of goodwill the changes cannot take place due to currency differences
Therefore, we are sorry to inform you that change of destination is not possible.

Thanks and Regards,

Wah, I'm impressed that Air Asia actually replied to calvin's mail...

Sorry to hear about calvin's wrong booking, since no refund for the flight itself, but still can get back the airport tax, right?

Oh, not too bad then...

Who knows, it might be a "sign" for you to consider visiting Macau as well?

Airasia has just cancelled the flight and planned to just get away by just refund. MOst of the customer bought the ticket at promotion price, how can they possible buy another at the same price??? Airasia is starting to loose their mind. Or maybe they are to caught up with the 1Malaysia F1 team??

I just noticed that you have to pay extra RM5 if you are using your credit / debit card to pay online.
Using maybank2u will be a better choice to avoid the unwanted fees.
