Hey guys,
Wanna ask a question. Do you know when is the latest we can reach the boarding gate for AirAsia domestic flight? I'm planning to use the Web check-in facility so that I don't have to check-in at the counter. Thanks! |

I've flown Airasia many times before and never encounter any major problem, actually they are pretty good compare to some other budget airlines, in terms of transparency especially. Their extras are usually cheaper than other budget airlines too btw.

Anyone notice Airasia check-in luggage charges increased? Previously RM5 for 15kg, now RM10.

QUOTE(Ami Tsun @ Sep 28 2009, 10:08 AM) Yup, it has been mentioned a few posts back. One piece of 15kg max was removed long long time ago...it was there for only a short time, if I'm not mistaken, they removed it when they removed the fuel surcharge. However, I baru realised now that the 15kg is for accummulated pieces of check in baggage, has since replaced the baggage handling fee which limit to only one piece of 15kg max. Took away the admin fee, and increased the baggage fee, the pre ordered meals also more expensive liao.. I wonder what's next to increase or to pay for? "pay to use the toilet on board"?? Or introducing cheaper without seat - "standing fare"?? Regarding the admin fee, ever noticed since the admin fee removed, hardly any "Free" flights now? They "remove" the admin fee but now include it in the fare. Its just giving another name for the same charge. LOL. To be fair to them they have the lowest meals and extras charges among all the budget airlines I've sat with. In fact their meals are so cheap, its probably cheaper to eat in the plane than in the airport! Also, they are the most flexible with online check-in and mobile check-in. However, their fares can be quite expensive though if you're not getting the promo tickets... |

QUOTE(stimix @ Sep 29 2009, 09:15 AM) I normally go for the same zero promotion if possible & normally 6-9 mths in advance! But my upcoming Taiwan trip really a let down!! Booked during MAS promotion...The best ever from MAS..RM780 all-inc fare while AA best offer ~RM770 nett. Why didn't you book MAS then? It was only an RM10 difference....Bought and 2-3 days later, AA dropped their Taiwan pricing & on the same date, you can go Taiwan at RM450 nia!!!!!!Me cry liao!!! |

QUOTE(elynnzo @ Oct 5 2009, 05:12 PM) aik. ade eh? where do u see that? anyway, MAS also got promo now. for 1 way RM500+ to Melbourne. return tix around rm2700 ~__~ ok mahal. so imma stick to Air Asia. Teach you a trick....MAS from SIN-KUL-MEL-KUL-SIN is SGD600...cheaper than KUL-MEL-KUL. So if you book flight starting from SIN its cheaper! If you don't want to board from SIN its no problem, you can always board at KUL!Air Asia now pergi balek end of jan around rm1100 |

QUOTE(Ami Tsun @ Oct 7 2009, 01:26 AM) Have you tried on this trick of yours and board at KUL instead of SIN? I think you're right. Sorry for the mistake. For what I know, previously some one bought KUL-SIN-KUL but have to leave a day earlier to SIN, so she "no show" from KUL-SIN. Then to her horror, on her return date, she found out that the SIN-KUL was forfeited! So, SIN-KUL-MEL-KUL-SIN, if do not board from SIN, it might be considered as "no show" and straight away MAS computer system locked you out from the rest of the flights! Anyway I checked the SIN-MEL flights and it seems that there are no flights available at that price for Jan. |

QUOTE(puss.in.heels @ Nov 4 2009, 05:13 PM) Hi everyone, If you bought travel insurance, you may be able to claim the fare for your return flight under certain circumstances, else you have to buy a new return flight.Wondering if anyone can help me. My husband and I booked an AA Go Holiday package online to Phuket. But due to unforseen circumtances, we are required to be back to KL a day earlier than what was pruchased. Can we change the date on our return tickets? How much is the change fee if so? We bought the package on regular pricing. Thanks in advance. |
