so far, no restriction on the size or shape for check-in bag.
Most important is the weight does not exceed as stated in ur itenary.

Actually, you are right. Had a quick coffee fix and realised I wasn't reading properly.

Anyway... With regards to check-in baggage, although AAX doesn't state any restrictions on dimensions, it's best to stay within L180cm x W140cm x H145cm if you want your baggage to travel with you on the same flight. With a bit of luck, baggage longer than 180cm and up to 280cm can be uplifted.

I've searched the forum but no clear answer. Does the web checkin actually speed up your checkin process? I typically fly with checkin luggage and I sometimes pay to choose my seat.

What advantage would the web check-in be in these cases?

Web check-in and print your boarding pass. If you have baggage for check in, at the airport go to the Check-in Baggage Drop/Travel Document Check Counter, eg at LCCT, counter 62-64. Show your printed boarding pass and check in you baggage. These counters closes 1 hour before departure time.

Anyway, if you do not have check-in baggage, still need to go to the counter. For international flight, need to verify the passport and the boarding pass is stamped. Now for dosmetic flight, also require an "Air Asia" ink stamp.

If not web check-in, may also use the kiosk check in at the airport. The advantage? -Need not queue at the check in counter

Recently just i been to the renovated LCCT and the place look more like a pasar than airport. They dont have to make the airport so low class even though is housing a budget airline

Intended that way ..political reason... smile.gif just think why moving them to KLIA & thereafter to LCCT, whereas...slowly they are promoting another firefxx replacing AA at Subang Terminal 3...Now, Terminal 3 got new facelift & the interior looks so nais... smile.gif

i dont agree if AA move to KLIA now. I think security at KLIA is not safe la. They must improve the KLIA safety first before moving any budget airlines there. Plus, if you looks at KLIA, it really a bit torn down
