What b-man mean is once you bought the ticket, everything onboard is chargeable-lah such as choosing your seat, bagage check-in, makan-makan..lucky they din charge for using toilet as what Ryan aiur did biggrin.gif

Oh yah, currently AA also luv to consolidate flight..i.e certain flight wth less passenger will be conso to an earlier or later flight...so lotsa ppl actually get very furious about this esp those having another flight on transit...

Otherwise, I hv no prob wth AA too...newer planes (Although the A330..having a bad reputation now), their A320 abit faster than aging MAS 737

Currently the no admin fee really a mind blowing & real tempting offer....Imagine I was so happy getting an all inclusive MAS ticket of RM778 to Taipei, when AA is offering slight cheaper at RM753. However after adding check-in bagagges, makan & choosing seat...the price will be RM780..slightly more than MAS...so I decided on MAS...then..AA dropped price and now their all inc fare to Taipei on same date..is only RM700..if added all makan & check-in...I'm getting ~RM740 only...sumore flying on bigger & bewer A330..compare to MAS 737-800 plane cry.gif

That's the promo lah, don't fall for the trap into thinking that a return flight is RM169 x 2. It never is.

The reason for this is simple, airport tax. LCCT charges RM20 per person (correct me if I'm wrong, can't recall the exact amount) but MEL I'm sure charges significantly more hence the price difference. You can avoid huge airport tax differences if you stay within Malaysia eg. LCCT to Langkawi is around RM15 per person only.

Still you definitely can get cheap prices. I got KL to Gold Coast for around RM400 return, including baggage and seat fees.

I quite happy with lowest fare of Airasia, but the things is they didn't provided food & beverage. I took 3.5 hours trip through AirAsia but sadly I can't even request a cup of drinks in my journey sad.gif

U should have pre-booked the food & the food is much better than those by MAS.. As for the drink, buy mineral water/drinks from the departure hall & smuggler in to the plane..I did that frequently. smile.gif

Don't forget the 100 ml limits. They should have sell the mineral water on board. Did they?

Dear all,
I dun know what happen to airasia online payment, yesterday i was trying to make payment through direct debit, but i cannot find the tab as it only shows credit card/debit card & E-Gift vaucher. Then, today i can access to direct debit payment but when try to find maybank2u, however it onlys shows 4 banks: Public Bank, MEPS FPX, RHB Bank & CIMB Clicks. Does anyone experience this problem? Have called Airasia & Maybank, but they couldn't convince me, they seems dunno about the problems.
