Hi guys, Im the a new user for hl e broking service. I dun reli understand something and hope someone can clarify about it.

1) I have read some material about e-broking and dun reli und what is T+3. Is it mean like the payment will be credited from my e-broking acc after 3 days of transactions? WHat about selling of share? Same applications also? or real time...

2) Take osk as eg. The every transaction fees is RM28 (buy/sell). What is the percentage of broking fee and how to count it?

Thank q.

1) T+3 = Transaction + 3 working days, money will be debited/credited to your trust acc after T+3.
2) Brokerage is minimum RM12 or 0.42% of proceed whichever is higher. Need to add stamp duty & clearing fee as well.

no.. hlebroking did not offer direct CDS account, that was what my remisier told me..

anyone know where is the easiest way to apply for direct CDS?

I may be apply thru itradecimb.

Added on September 25, 2009, 9:52 pmwell, i guess for KLSE trading, hlebroking is the best with reasonable brokerage fee, Rm12++. prompt customer service and everything in order.

for US broking, if you can pay enough, use OptionExpress.
let's say if you want a cheap one, use Sogotrade (USD3), but you will found no or least customer support.

I am hong leong share trading supporter, however, i don't understand why they don't want to do Direct CDS business? now we have to apply somewhere else..

U can apply for Direct CDS Account at HLeBROKING. The reason ur remisier want u to open Nominees CDS Account is to protect own liabilties. rclxms.gif

R u sure is direct CDS account, if not mistaken opening at HLB branch is nominee account.

U need to register HL Online as well in order to trade, have to use ATM card to generate a TPIN then
goto www.hlb.com.my to register as HL Online user and wait till trading account open you can then click
HLeBroking once u r inside thier eBanking website.

If your friend open under HL Investment Bank then possible is direct account, then just goto
www.hlebroking.com. easiest way to do is call them directly.

i just wanna know if anyone encounter the same problem. Today i key in a quantity of 470000 shares or 4700 x 100 lots to buy a pn17 status lifted company. But the computer rejected my order with the following status on my order "(Dealer) Order Declined." Then i key in twice 100k shares ok. I called the broker and he said since that stock is pn17 status its restricted to shares exposure or something like that. From what i know, that company is already pn17 status lifted why is that still restricting amount of shares to be traded?
