Dear valued clients,

We sincerely regret to inform that we had a technical problem this morning which resulted in our clients not able to access the HLeBroking website this morning. Currently, we are also in the process of restoring some of the trading and portfolio information.

In the interim, we would appreciate if you could carry out the following steps:

·            My Portfolio à For share portfolio checking, you may check the balance under ecTrade>>Trading Info (corner right bottom).

·            Current Position & Settlement Instruction à Kindly call the enclosed list of staff for assistance.

We expect the trading and portfolio information to be fully restored by Thursday. You can carry out the buy and sell trading as usual and please call the officers below for immediate assistance.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Regards

Added on May 7, 2009, 1:52 pmFYI, for average prices, they use FIFO technics to count ur stock ave prices. im not sure how they do it, since im also in confuse.

Nevertheless, the “My Portfolio” function will only be fully restored on Monday 11thMay 2009. In the interim, you can still check the share balance under ecTrade>>Trading Info (corner right bottom).

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and please be assured that the data integrity is intact.

I'm an HLB customer, too. No doubt the commission is quite reasonable but there're mainly 2 matters that I hope to see improvement:

1. Spoon Feed Reminser
They just follow your order, they know if the price is going to rise or down contantly but if you're putting the wrong order, they don't tell you and just do as what you ordered. It seems like they care only about their commission.

There was once I asked one of the reminser what's his view on the current market, buy around CI 1120pt and short-sell at 1150pt but he just said: it's depend on how you view lah...

Maybe, they don't care ikan bilis like me...sigh...

2. System Down
I am saying the system is always down. There was once their website down for 1 whole week.

to me, consider a lot better than maybank. I never face 1 whole week down, rarely down, i just remember bursa probably down but not HL.

for peak time, it probably slowing u down but NOT down at all.
most of it, its good thumbup.gif

fyi, im not frequent trader
