QUOTE(smartly @ Jun 17 2009, 08:54 PM) check their website. look for faq. Do u have maybank2u internet account? You can log on to hlebroking then select "epayment" then follow the steps then ok already. Each transaction they charge RM 0.50.

I'm an HLB customer, too. No doubt the commission is quite reasonable but there're mainly 2 matters that I hope to see improvement:
1. Spoon Feed Reminser They just follow your order, they know if the price is going to rise or down contantly but if you're putting the wrong order, they don't tell you and just do as what you ordered. It seems like they care only about their commission.
There was once I asked one of the reminser what's his view on the current market, buy around CI 1120pt and short-sell at 1150pt but he just said: it's depend on how you view lah...
Maybe, they don't care ikan bilis like me...sigh...
2. System Down I am saying the system is always down. There was once their website down for 1 whole week.

Q1 - that is their job to take order from you, what happen if they give wrong comments render you losing ton of $$$ ?? you curse them ?? Q2 - so far so good. No problem getting in, except weekend which many going through testing now as bursa is implementing new bid structure....

I never face 1 whole week down, rarely down, i just remember bursa probably down but not HL. for peak time, it probably slowing u down but NOT down at all. most of it, its good fyi, im not frequent trader This post has been edited by mmusang: Aug 18 2009, 11:14 AM

Hey, I want to open an account with HLebroking online. After applying online, if I cannot go to their office to fill up the application forms, can we mail it to them? If mail, do we really need it to be 'witnessed and certified by Commissioner For Oaths' as stated in their FAQs? Thanks!!!
