Very easy one.

Remember the horse chick who likes Aragorn??

She cooked for him and he mention his age.

Aragon is the descendent of numenor, super-humans who once lived in Numenor that lived very long to few hundred years old.

Ah, no wonder I can't recall that scenes, as I've only watch the extended version once, and that was what? more than 10 years ago tongue.gif

Also, in LOTR, Legolas are send by his father as representative for Elrond's council, I think that's the first time he met Aragorn as well, or have they met before? hmm.gif
or it took him 60 years to find him? tongue.gif

If I recalled correctly, even in the book, it does not specifically mentioned whether they have met before Council of Elrond. But Aragorn was tracking Gollum and after capturing him, he delivered Gollum to Thranduil. So, there's a possibility that Legolas and Aragorn bumped into each other, while Aragorn was there in Mirkwood.

TGV doesn't even say anything about HFR on their booking website until today. doh.gif

I always find them confusing with their standard/luxe/beanie/3Dx/Indulge categories

QUOTE(Medufsaid @ Dec 18 2014, 12:01 PM)
TGV has confirmed that their IMAX will be in 24fps. In fact they said this for the past two years already.
I had the misfortune of watching it in IMAX during the first year. Then I rewatched it in HFR and never went back

HFR seems to be messed up in arrangements for both GSC and TGV

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Dec 19 2014, 09:12 AM)
Cathay e@Curve does not show it in HFR 3D this time sad.gif

I think many people are right that there isn't just enough sub plots to support the main plot (battle for the mountain), I guess we need to wait for 8 months to get the extended version on Bluray to see a more comprehensive storyline.

However, the battles make it worthwhile to watch biggrin.gif

2.5/5 for this final trilogy as i feel the plots are kinda in abit rush. Non-stop actions are good but the build up in d battles scenes were sluggish n rushing. Not expecting it were epic battle as or better than ROTK but its should atleast not too far from ROTK standard.

2 hrs 24mins isnt enough. Perhaps 3hrs should be standard version, and extended shld be almost 4. Especially, they could tell abit detail bout those Gundabad orcs or those behind the Gundabad gates/territory.

The dialogues were not as inspiring as in ROTK.

Lastly, i wonder if there arent telling what happen that The Eye, Sauron after his retreated? Or anything bout the 3 after they fought Nazgul & Sauron?

I always confuse between Luxe and Indulge. Both looks like they are on par with Gold Class (GSC) and Platinum (Cathay) doh.gif

I'm considering to rewatch again in HFR just because of the battle scenes. They were awesome in normal 2D, need input whether they are in HFR.

This should be watch in 3D .. I have already watched 2D and 3D... in 2D the most epic scenes the battle of 9 shadow warrior fight my lady saruman and elf king...

in 3D it pretty much zoom in everything and clearer ...I would advice 3D coz it specifically made for 3D

I never personally like hobbit or the LOTR coz it simply chaotic hassle... long hour , extended. I do enjoy the fighting scenes the characters and everything... I have not impressed by this hobbit trilogy .. I watched 3 of them at cinema and thought that it something missing...

You see the last part where the army of orc arrived the strongest one and oldest one... what really happened to them did they overwhelmed outnumbering the good forces ?? I would expecting much more epic battle since it name "Battle of 5 armies" ... there are huge gap and huge emphasizing on Dwarf, elf and orc.... where the other two ??

I watched at cinema it about 2 hour and some minutes ..where the rest? why cut short ??

I like the part mylady banishing the shadow or sauron ... and also the fighting scenes the place where mylady was weak summoning saruman and calling elf king... that all...

and that cousin of oakenshield that look like a cartoon or anime thingy riding a boar... that head strike delivered to orcs countless times are just funny LOL
