ur temp quite low, using wat cooling bro? mine seems get high readings of core temps, but small delta of idle and load temps, roughly 10c-12c on water cooling, apogee gt, mcp650, mcr220qp...

huhu another one seem c the wrong clock..its 400x8 lor..3.2ghz..c the cpuz..the orthos will gv u highest multiplier reading lor..since he set 400fsb n highest multiplier for this e84 is x9 dats y its display 3.6ghz

hi all brother.today i get 2 unit e8400 batch Q748A401.eh...2 bad it 445x9 need 1.36 to orthos stable.but i feel the new batch temp is cooler than the old batch.old batch lower vcore overclock higher but temp also abit higher.so my feel it almost same core cool???higher vcore??

Hmm, the old E8400 I owned need 1.42vcore to reach an unstable 3.92ghz 490x8. Really disappointing.

that was too much vcore to get to 3.92ghz.
probably some other parts lead to the limit.
try one by one 1st.

today i find back the old batch Q746A482 orthos stable at 1.29 to 4.2ghz lor.but the problem is temp really a high damn.Q748A401.i feel new batch more cool but oc hard lor.i run new batch Q748A401 8x500 load 1.36 just 60-62c core temp reading.the old batch i run Q746A482 467x9 1.29 vcore.god damn the old core reading 65-67c..damn wat the problem there.i think new batch like GO more cool...

shouldn't it be same cause both batch are 45nm cpu?

i got 4 batch e8400 for my customer.so sure i got chance to test!here another test.1.21v to test

hie all this is old batch.some 1 offer me rm850 for this batch.this cpu bath at 3/1/2008.tat all i know.the cpu already sold to my customer.he offer me high so nth to think just let it go.running 4.4ghz orthos now 1.37v at d-tek water setup.tomorow need send out liao.hehehe
after i get another nice cpu will try let u all know.who interest i will try look a good e8400 but need some time,ok keh guy??this is the best i found so fari
