i have a p35-ds3 rev2.1 , there should not be a problem going beyond 3.6. i manage to hit 3.7 with stock heaksink, but my temp is too high. Set ur voltage to auto. The mobo will auto adjust the voltage for u. From there u will know how high u can go. After that only slowyly reduce the voltage.

Not sure about the others, maybe u can try this method first?

IMO better not put to auto.... the mobo will set ur vcore too high from what i experienced last time...i was just OCing an e2140 @2.4ghz n the mobo pump in 1.4V sweat.gif

i manage to run everything on stock at 3.6ghz. and sure it's
prime and occt stable. 10-loop of 3dmark-06 and super-pi 32m, all pass with no error. guess i'll just stick with 3.6ghz for now as i'm still waiting for ho05 chipset cooler. might change my true to ultima 90i if anyone wanna trade with me.

have not tried 4ghz yet cause of temperature issue, i am using e8400 too. The only thing u can do is increase ur vcore. leave ur mch and fsb to normal. the board can adjsut itself.

yes. At normal setting, it will auto adjust to get the stable voltage. As for the vcore, if u are worried about the temp, set manually.

Next few days i try 4ghz with my stock heaksink, see if possible or not.

actually it's the combination of hardware and user skill.
