Added on August 11, 2009, 11:47 amyesterday met up with bro krauser's ard 4.30pm to match some of our fs. i thought i would be able to record another good match between cobra and jet li but jet li on that day seemed like wouldn't want to engage in a fight. in the end, krauser brought out one unknown fs which he said was from his flower pot and previously had fought 3 chops with gila. flower pot size was slightly smaller the cobra and both of us thought he might lost to cobra. wah liew... its the opposite man !!!!

after defeating cobra, he won another sup pow which was slightly smaller than him which i didnt manage to capture a good video.

wah this flower pot really getting on my nerves. sioa liao, all the fs i brought along lost to one single fs which is the smallest among them. then i discovered i brought lim chu kang as well and why not give it a fight with flower pot. this time round i didnt put in great hope on lim chu kang since flower pot defeated wind.

Man.. i watched the fight several times ady.. very long and exciting fight.

Lalang vs Gila - 3mins fight.. (lalang leg kena bite)
Lalang vs Gila - rematch (lalang lower part kena bitten)
Lalang vs Destroyer (lalang arm get bitten)
Lalang vs Ajax - (lalang seems like weaken or knock out abit)

Looks like most of the FS from SG all have more experience in fights and can fight much more longer.
2 mins+ and even break 3 mins+ record fight. I feel both Lalang and Gila have very good fighting will and have about the same strength..

Haiz, I was really pinning on Gila to defeat Ajax hence the loud 'Walao!' at the end of the video. But since Gila is mentally unstable.. can't be helped.. He seems to prefer the tactic of letting himself be pushed or pull his opponents which are equal or stronger in strength under the platform to strike a 'low blow'. If he cannot achieve that, he will run. Can see this especially in this Gila VS Ajax Round 1 video where Ajax prevented Gila from going under the platform twice by trapping Gila's rear legs. After the 2nd attempt to drag Ajax underneath failed Gila disengaged and ran

Have to clarify that Ajax has performed better against Sea previously for 4chops in Sea VS Ajax (Round 2) when you first came to our 'headquarters'. This was round 2 and it wasn't Bukit as kopPao mentioned in the youtube comments of the same round 1 match.

Bro Jong dun release Ajax yet! Nooooooooooo... his 'Eagle' stance is very nice to look at and I think should have a few more fights left in him leh..


Ya I second having Bro Jong as official videoman He's using a no frills camcorder with no macro mode and yet can capture such a detailed video. You should see his recording technique, his camcorder lens sebei close to the FS almost touching the platform wan.

Lol! Relak la Bro Trevally, maybe should re-sort your FS and those which are old like Wind and Ranger should release them to your flowerpots.

The first video was confusing since both FS looked very similiar and I initially tought my flowerpot was the one whose claw was bitten and lost. Only after the match were we able to confirm the winner and looser by testing both FS fighting stance again.

Angry with Jet Li for refusing to fight his best friend Cobra so I have punished him by putting him in confinement But his refusal to fight turned out to be a blessing in disguise haha. This flowerpot is one of 2 of my sparring FS which I mentioned earlier have became fiercer. So Bro's we should also monitor our sparring FS too

BTW Mindstorm, if you're still reading this thread or any of the other Bros who have experienced Bu molting to Kang before, is there any chance that this Bu here will molt to a Kang? Its bloody huge and its face is unusually white for a Bu, however the palps aren't as swollen like those of a Kang's. Been keeping it for almost 2wks already but still no molt

hi guys... had a meeting with Hulk last night. unfortunately, Hulk was not at his best.
In fact, he is far from his best. he dosnt show jerkiness in his movement. i guess he has reached his old age.
we proceed with the fight anyway, since bro vincent came all the way down to my block. appreciate that.

1st round, 1 chop from TFM, Hulk ran away.
2nd round, same thing happened. Hulk couldnt withstand the initial chop from the L-size chopster.

we were puzzled but not suprised, as Hulk looks really weak. we were all disappointed as we expected a close match between these 2 magnificant FS.

Lalang survived this 2nd meeting against Gila and I believe kopPao has released him already.

Jet Li has recovered his fighting spirit after I corrected the problem of removing this pregnant Bu. Didn't know pregnant Bus can be so fierce til I saw it chasing Jet Li around in his container yesterday before feeding time. After that tried him against a zero fighter and he gave chase So I decided to try him out against the flowerpot FS that slayed almost Trevally's entire team and both gave a good fight around 30sec, damnit didn't record. The fight went underneath the leave (as usual for my FS) but I didn't turn the leave over, just held it high up and saw them still fighting. Then both of them sort of dropped from the leave with the web trailing and continued fighting in the air! Walao! In the end Jet Li dropped below and flowerpot climbed back up. When I tried to spar them again, Jet Li ran. So the small flowerpot is now my new champion small fighter WTF!

Point noted. Anyways all the bros here discourage death matches and will stop the fight when they see this about to happen. Maybe we did say something like 'Die already' or 'Going to die', in the videos becoz we were all worked up and excited during the 'Live' matches but in reality the fights were stopped in time and both FS survived.

All of them except me that is . I'l remove my 1 death match of Gila killing a chopster which I posted earlier, no problem

Seems to be many videos on FS locked in combat, but none showing its hunting behavior.
Maybe you should make one which shows a cricket moving abt, then a waiting FS pouncing on it!
Can also show a suppow attack and say how this is the same as an FS catching its prey!

Gila vs Lalang Rd2

WALAN EH. Underside attack/troat bite or watever u call it...this is another first ONE OF ITS KIND fight variation. A sudden strong jerk push from gila at 0.41 flipped lalang upside down and amazingly gila still standing upright which allowed it to have a deadly point of attack. Notice at 0.40-0.41 both arms of lalang is wide open. At 0.39 just b4 the flip, lalang's right arm is held away...maybe that's why the flip can happen. Lalang was not holding on to its opponent tight enuf... Probably Lalang already weaken also. After the roll about in the first 6 seconds, can see Lalang already injured. Heck man, Gila really aggressive and gila too. Perfect choice of name man!
Good that the brothers there then also try to stop the match, at least saved Lalang. (But even the attempt to save Lalang was incredible! Despite whoever was that tapping hard underneath the leaf to break up Gila's stronghold, Gila was still holding on to its victim like mad!)

I can understand moderator Nairud's concern about death matches. I think this is a very controversial issue and surely different brothers here will have different viewpoints which are valid. Actually from many of the fights clips, we can see that most of the time,whenever there an impeding death match, there will be someone who would try to stop the match. Sometimes it happen so fast and unexpectedly that hardly anything can be done. Afterall they are spiders and spiders can deliver a fatal bite to kill their prey(including other spiders) in a split second. But most of the time, maybe we also unsure wheather a hold would lead to death or not cuz sometimes the fs being held can turn around to counter.

Bro Jong71, I too also have this concern that this forum might one day not approve our content or one day take down this tread for watever reason. Now that Trevally got his own blog, in case this happen then we all jump to his blog!(Trevally then will have quite a bit of work to put up the now 100+ post from this tread if he agree to it!)
I guess forum tread allows the contributors more power to load up their own content to contribute but blog content mainly must go through the blog owner before you can see it. Is that correct, trevally? cuz i also not sure about blogging. But i guess google blog allows more freedom for the type of content, while forum got moderator(police) to check check on us. i guess for blog the police is the blogger himself.

Gila & Ajax are certainly better than him.
however, due to lalang's "never wana lose" attitude, he faced death several times... really hope he recovers...

he hasn't eaten since the last match with either Gila or Ajax. the match which almost cost lalang's life.
just few mins ago, he ate a cricket at last. But, he did not feed on the cricket naturally.
in fact, what i did was to kill the cricket to make it half dead, then i "throw"the cricket onto lalang. he grab and feast on it.
"phew"!.... what a relief for me...

he lost a leg, another 1 seems permanently fractured. seems like he isn't fit for fighting at the moment...
