ok.....mine need me to activate wor.....must pay ar??? mine was given by the handphone shop man.....pro version....sum more.....anyone got the activation code or sumthing....anyone got other software similar or better that this

Finally got my P1i back after 2.5 weeks in the AP service center to fix that Sim card reading error and loosing all SE factory themes and ring tone with master reset and then to go bonker when I on and off the phone.

Have some weird issues but no call drop or reception. All else are great. Decided to flash it to english version, so its no more chinese function. Suppose to be more stable. A tad slower but seems ok so far even after sync with outlook except contact sync.

My finger cross for the last 24 hrs now...

now i'm looking for something which can lock my msg folders..kinda like hv to enter pin code to access.

is there? (i doubt though )

How to turn on the cursive or continous writing? I remember I can set it on but after flashing it to English UK version, can't seem where to activate it.

the software fyi is not a freeware and therefore you need to pay to get the activation code. else just uninstall the one your phone shop gave u and google for ahem solution

there's device lock in lock setting, kinda like keylock but it require you to enter access code to reactivate the phone after some time period.
i don come across any software that can specifically lock the message folder though. perhaps you can try the software provided by gr44?

i think the function only exist in chinese firmware. i used to have that setting in SG firmware but not the GW

I just bought an ap P1i 2 days ago. I am totally new with P1i or SE phone after few years using nokia phone.
Overall this phone is great even my wife love the phone function. Will explorer more on this phone & reading ur guys

ok....then might as well look for another type....got any recommedation

since i don really need to type mandarin, i'll definitely go for english firmware.

benefits of english firmware :
~slightly faster overall speed
~much more faster handwriting recognition
~lack of anti aliasing makes everything looks ugly

and since incoming mandarin SMS is unavoidable, english firmware with mandarin character installed is the best combination for me

finally i'm able to wifi.

but now 1 problem. i can't delete a wifi account, name 'DefaultWifiAccount'. it says "This account is read-only and cannot be changed!". i need to delete it..

can someone share how to sign a software....

very sad after 3 month using my P1i the keypad "j" wont work....since it under waranty its okay for me to take back to the shop in KL to fix it..but kinda sad coz b4 this happen to my w580i....i'm a big sony ericsson fan..still have my first phone k508i with me its prove me how good sony is..

list of sony ericsson i have been using

k508i (keep for the memories) , w550i, w800i, w810i, w580i (sold keypad problem) k850i(current) P1i(current)

call up SE service centre's, report the problem and theyll tell you if the part is available or not. if it is the repair shouldnt take very long. one or two hours perhaps.

have u try google map? Its free but u have to connect to the net to downloads the maps

I replaced my 512MB M2 card with a 2G card then I got this error message on Storage Wizard. I did a Master Reset to clear this error message and then in all sudden the tick boxs are revised. Any fix on that? This DefaultWiFiAccount thing also appear after master reset.
