The phone can keep more than 200 messages, that's for sure.
To me, the audio quality is quite amazing for a non-walkman phone.

my choice hands down P1i baby...  (obviously la hehe)
but it really 1st depends on what u want in a phone really.

To me, I think the speaker is weak.

anyone found key mapper software for P1?....and autostartup for programs?.....glad to hear if have....lol...

maybe the pictures look better on the w810 because of it's smaller screen display (hence, pictures tend to look clearer/sharper) compared to the wider P1i screen display that might expand the picture making it appear less sharp.

i do believe it's just for the screen display going off, other applications still go running...

Ok, i normally put my phone upside down in my pocket so it would be easy for me to just peep into my pocket to see if there is any msg/miss call because there is a green light indicator that blinks saying you have a msg/miss call...

But at times, I pull out my phone and to my horror see msg/miss calls without the green light blinking!

I have then come to a conclusion that, if you already have a msg/miss call, yes the light will blink, but say one of the buttons on your phone was pressed accidentally without you noticing, then the green light goes off.

Then this green light isn't that useful after all huh?

I mean come on, doesn't SE notice all this small but very noticeable faults?

true bout the qwerty keyboard...once you've masters it...faster than other phone.....

bout the colors....human eye can only see not more than 252k color.....the 16m color bring nothing diff......sharper image depend on screen resolution....bigger better....

hey guys...just found out that OCBC is having 0% installment plan for P1i too. RM158 x 12 months. total is RM1896. any idea how much is the market price for an ori set? is it RM19xx? Ambank is having the same promo too but only RM1699 & installment plan up to 24 months. but 24 months is way too long.

I am also struggling on whether taking AP or Midland.....

My V3x AP is working fine for about 2 years. So i am thinking of getting another AP for this P1i. Anyone know how is the price in Penang.

To me, the cam is great.
I've had used K800i before, and I don't think the P1i cam quality will lose to  K800i.
About the internet browsing, I personally prefer the BlackBerry Web over the default browser, which claim to be Opera Mini, or whatever you call that.
I've tried on both my house and college, both work fine for me.
But when it comes to photo/pictures loading, will become slower.
I can see that you're from NT.
How's your 3G coverage over there? 24/7 on?
