This is because there is a dust spec floating near the lens and when you snap and flash fire, illuminate the dust spec also.

This is quite a common issue for photo with flash especially in dustier environments.

resco not bad, but can consider photorite bcos it has other functions also, like photofix, frames, zoom effects, etc.

hi guys...

after reading this topic regarding GPS function in N82, I still have 1 question.

Can I still get routing functions (*means it will ask you to turn left or right) IF i turn off A-GPS?

This is the most important thing for me smile.gif

Glad if anyone can help me out with this question.... biggrin.gif

A-GPS requires an active connection to a network online via GPRS or 3G watever. I've tried disabling the connection, I'm still able to use all (well maybe not all) the GPS functions for positioning and routing. You need to pay for the Nokia Map navigation, but you can try the Garmin solution provided on the first page icon_idea.gif

A-GPS is Assisted-GPS, it is for improving GPS to receive data.

Example,
you have to locate the statelite to have your current location

It might take a few minutes, if raining time it might take forever
so with A-GPS it used our service provider by using GPRS to locate the statelite.

with A-GPS it will locate the statelite within 1-minutes more or less
but you have to pay the data charge (GPRS)

you can disable A-GPS, it wont have any effect in routing or anything
but you juts need to wait for the long time to connect to statelite.

I on A-GPS everytime, because i dont mind the data charge
it is just 8kb plus or minus mean it is 8cent: so i treat it as a SMS

A-GPS only active went there is low/no statelite connection, mean it used at the START and used example you are under the bridge (statelite receiption lost)

so A-GPS is a good function, you are also able to receive statelite signal in-door. but charge are apply, so if you really mind, just off it. use it went rainy day or urgently or anything

For updating maps, or details info of the maps, etc, those required online connection. But without it also can work. smile.gif

Nokia maps tht is pre-installed in your phone is free. However, the voice navigation (the voice tht tells u to turn left or right) is not free. U only can use it for 3 mths i heard, after that u have to pay for it, or turn it off to continue using nokia maps.

For me, i use nokia maps to find specific locations using addresses (coz garmin MXT cant use this function mad.gif then from there, i take the exact coordinates, then key into garmin MXT to navigate to the place i want to go. Hope this helps wink.gif

You have to use the find place, Hotel, etc. to find the address, but it's not very user friendly I think sweat.gif
eg. I type SS2 it comes out S2 ... looks confusing. doh.gif
