Add me N82 AP (RM1800)
V10.0.046
RM313

But i have one complain about the keypad, its small but still ok, however the joystick key make some loose sound and it is feels like it is falling apart compared to my Original N70Me. It is possible that the keypad especially the joystick is faulty? AP keypad? ohmy.gif . And the phone easily get a fingerprint, i have to rub it everytime. rclxub.gif . But overall its a very good phone

have to press it long enuf until the phone boot up... erm... try your n-gage game.. see you can still play them or not... mine cant after hard reset...
*
Yes, I have press long enough. Still the same

These are the things I found missing after Hard Reset

1) Dictionary Missing (can be fix, by my previous post)
2) 2 Ngage Demo Missing (can be fix, by going into Download option, and download again)
3) Snake Missing (can be fix, by going into Download option, and download again)

Known Issue For Firmware:
V 10.0.046
24-10-07
RM-313
Nokia N82 (12.01)

There are a few issues with N82 hard reset. The following sequence below will not hard reset properly
*#7780#
or
*#7370#
or
Off phone -> Press and Hold 3, *, Green Button (Call) -> On phone while holding the 3 buttons

These are the things I found missing after Hard Reset
1) Applications -> Dictionary
It will cause the Dictionary to give an error with the message
Dictionary word information missing. Install word database

Solution:
Download
-http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/apac/p...ictionaryDB.zip
-Extract SimplifiedDictionaryDB.zip
-Copy the extracted private\101f9cfe folder into <MCard>\private\101f9cfe

2) 2 Ngage Demo Missing
Solution:
Can be fix, by going into Download option, and download again

3) Snake Missing
Solution:
Can be fix, by going into Download option, and download again

when u dun wan to use the 'copy & paste' function u can hold on the # key and use the navigator key as usual..when u release the # key then it will change back to 'copy & paste' function...

i think both is usable, just depends on own preferences.

1 is Nseries PC Suite, while another is the generic one for all Nokia phones.

well, if you're using N series phone, why not use the Nseries PC Suite, it looks and feels more suitable, in black color some more.. smile.gif i'm using it btw..

The hard reset is always like that. Hard reset my E61 also deletes the PREINSTALLED dictionary and games. So always backup ur data before hard or soft reset.

I even hard reset my E61 once every 4 months to keep it running like new...

I'm curious... when using Garmin+malsing maps, can I disable Assistant GPS function and just use GPS alone? I don't want to use GPRS data transfer. I'm looking to buy the N82 once my bonus is out :-P

Added on December 27, 2007, 6:00 pmAlso, when using GPS and I get an incoming call... does the GPS program shuts down/stop showing but runs in background?
