Don't forget fring.com - ultimate skype call and ALL-IN-ONE instant messengers. It's free! But 3G data not free ler... I prefer Shape Services IM+. Agile Messenger is kind of outdated and not powerful compare to IM+. Both not free though, unless....you know what I mean... This post has been edited by dgtel2: Dec 26 2007, 04:42 PM

The hard reset is always like that. Hard reset my E61 also deletes the PREINSTALLED dictionary and games. So always backup ur data before hard or soft reset.
I even hard reset my E61 once every 4 months to keep it running like new...

QUOTE(PIPSGuy @ Dec 28 2007, 12:21 PM) What is the different between Assistant GPS & Normal GPS? What kind of chipset N82 use? Does it SIRF III? But I found out that it can lock satellite quiet fast (with in 10-15 seconds) with is very good. How bout the accuracy compare with well know GPS (ie: Gramin). Thanks. You might need to see this Youtube of N82 vs Garmin

Does this phone support IP Passthrough (ie you connect the N82 to internet via cable to your notebook/desktop that has the internet connection. Meaning that your notebook internet connection shares with N82.)
IP Passthrough is good for ppl who don't have 3G connection.

QUOTE(Victor3010 @ Dec 30 2007, 10:45 AM) hmm....i don't think so...but the phone can be a modem bt only can connect through GSM network instead of WiFi...bt why do u need that feature?? the phone itself already have WiFi... If the WiFi down, IP Passthrough is the next answer. Sometimes, using VoIP via WiFi is lag. Using IP Passthrough is better.

You need the latest PC suite and NSU install in your machine. And yes, restart your PC after installation. Anyone with Vista managed to update N82 successfully....?

U have to install nokia PC Suite into ur PC. after successfully install, launch that PC Suite. Use either USB cable of the N82 to connect to ur PC. Then play around that PC Suite so that u know how to transfer files, use 3G for internet access, backup ur contacts, etc.
