all songs are arranged orderly in folders...same prob occurs when refresh songs...but when play or skipping songs,no prob..so,when refresh for new songs must wait for around 1 or 2 minutes lo.thats the price to pay for putting too much songs i guess. ..thanks for the suggestion though,hehe.....

alternatively, if you have wifi at home, go to Video Centre -> Add services -> Youtube service
it will let you stream youtube content using the built in RealPlayer

hehe..too bad...house no wifi,so i use uni's wi fi lo for streaming videos...if stream via phone line,i think i ll probably be able to buy another n82 before cny if i stream videos everyday since the data rate cost is so damn high....

maxis prepaid...but i never heard of maxis prepaid offering unlimited data plan oh...if got,i wan to apply also...

But that day i compared with my friend's n95 8gig. Really got lag if compared to n95 8gig

and btw, whats the app u all use to convert movies? the exact name? i have xilisoft too. but how come mine cant convert to mp4?

Got meh my N95 8GB also sometimes lag like hell but that's if there're too colourful and to many moving things...Normally won't lag lar but still if watch on PC still not as smooth as Viewty...

Just bought this phone yesterday AP set at RM 1780.

Am really satisfied with the colours and fucntion of the phone.

However : ( somehow when i view galery, it starts refreshing and after 1 min, tell me that there are no image and video inside but actually there is : (

Also, my phone hang and auto restart 3 times in 2 days

Sometime it is stable, sometime it is super unstable, can anyone enlighten me what problem it might be?

It happens to my phone too when I'm playing with some games. Wat about you? Perhaps compatibility issues.

nope, haven even had time to install new games yet and it already hang and restart 3-4 times.

What kindda of compatibility issues that you can think of?

For the games I think its OS version compatibility issue. N82's Symbian OS9 is S60 v3.1 so other version might not work.

Wat applications have u tested or did u install new themes? Sometimes certain themes also not compatible.

Btw, read on some other forums that many other users also suffer from this problems or hanging and restarting.

the restarting issue was informed to me by the shop.
i placed a deposit for the second batch which he said to have fixed the problem.
sadly the second batch didnt make it before CNY so that dude called me and explained the situation.
he was an honest seller and he even returned my deposit willingly.
im just waiting for his call to tell me that the second batch has arrived.

so im waiting super patiently for the second batch with the hope that this restarting/auto shutdown issue being fixed.

and yeah, maybe im gona wait for the white version as well just to compare which one looks better in real life.
black takes too long if i decided to wait no?

probably the lag in video recording is because of the original sd card...the original sd card is a normal speed..i am now using 4gb sdhc to record,n i hv to tell u,its fast,i shaked around the phhone while recording,and yet the video is still smooth...i think the card speed affects the videos quality..of course n95 8gb is fast bcos it records directly to the phone memory..maybe u can try recording it to phone memory to check out if there's any lag...about xilisoft,which type u r using?they have plenty of convertors,mine is xilisoft video convertor...there are other xilisoft such as xilisoft avi mpg converter,xilisoft wmv convertor etc...try downloading xilisoft convertor where it can convert all types of videos...

Sadly.. I returned my N82 (with some stuck/hot pixels; only 4 days old without any phone call made) to the hand phone shop in Low Yatt. They agreed to exchange with new N82 once they got stock; yet they keep telling me no stock. They also mentioned after CNY they can't exchange already and I must claim warranty. Made me so no mood to this baby.

I felt like being cheated... but it's my fault as well.. never really checked for dead pixels when i bought the phone. Heck.. it is really hard to check when most of the store are bright!

I was thinking of getting N95 8GB from them since they no stock for N82, so i tested the N95 8GB carefully and checked for dead pixels this time. Guess what? There is also 2 dead pixels on the N95 8GB screen!!! In the end, I agreed to trade in my N82 for them and rugi 100 bucks Most probably they are going to sell off my phone to some customers that didn't notice few little pixels. Oh well, i think this is what we call business eh? Earn twice from 1 phone.. from me and the next customer..

For the best way to check for dead pixels, create a 320*240 JPEG filled with Black color with MS Paint and save it in your old phone and transfer this pic using bluetooth to the new phone and check with it. (if you have a bluetooth phone)

CNY coming already.. i suggest you guys stop buying phone. No stock and the current stock might not be in good condition. The price is sky high as well..

eh.. one question.. i jus recently discovered that i cant access my mem card thru data transfer mode.. keep saying its being used by another application. any ideas?
