Can anyone give a detail review of the GPS in n82? My brother owned a N95 before and he told me that the GPS is very unreliable... dunno about n82...

for GPS, better stay outside of car and lock to satellite first, after that only go inside car and start driving, like that more reliable

I've been trying to find an application that can end tasks/processes/threads in the n82..
I tried Y-tasks but although it can see the hidden process but it doesn't have the option to kill/end the process...
I tried Handy Taskman but it doesn't have the function to see hidden process...
I tried Best Taskman but it doesn't run on my n82 I have no idea why...
I tried Jbak Taskman but it is unsigned and required to sign but currently we can't sign ourselves....

I almost give up edi...................................wat is this man

I need this because the copy/paste bug which is caused by garminXT can be fixed by ending the process called TSRAutoStart.exe which is auto started when you on your phone even though you didn't start garmin

ya quake working but sometimes hang gei playing half way though... dunno why... then have to reinstall....
but i REALLY SHOCKED seeing quake running in a mobile phone and some more so smooth! i didn't know n82 is capable of this when i bought it... now make me love it even more
if quake can run, i can't imagine the potential of mobile gaming... hope some creative developers make some serious games

ya i know it go back normal if press left softkey then go back, but very frustating le always do that... i googled the problem and ending tsrautostart.exe is the solution for this problem (when not using gps) coz not always need to use gps mar, so when not using mar do this first, when want to use only start garmin again lor.. unless u want to sacrifice garmin by removing it to fix the bug

muman7, you can install emtube and garmin and the like because their developer has already done the cert job for you, it is signed by the developer so you can just install it on your phone without any problem.. however for other freewares which is unsigned (the developer probably dun have the budget to sign it) we users have to sign it ourselves... however most of the applications we couldn't do that because only the developer can use the open sign online service, we can only sign certain freewares with the stupid open sign online now

ok my experience with installing latest garmin v80...

after i copy the sis file to mem card and straight install, it installed successfully, but lots of things get messed up like some words become not english and my internal gps can't be detected... so i uninstalled garmin and deleted the whole folder before i follow the steps in the file to install garmin again... and everything went smoothly after that, internal gps detected, bug fixed, faster boot up (i think), more stable, and more functions.

must have for n82!!

no more garmin bug!! woohoo!!!! feels great to type capital letter now that i know that i don't need to alt-tab after that


but one thing, i lost all the my location that i saved does anyone know which file to backup in the garmin folder for my locations? thanks

I believe you can download a software call rotateme to enable auto rotate in n95..

hmm i wonder why no one talked about the solution to get cert file for your phone to sign unlimited applications, i just got my cert, now i don't need to see the face of symbian sign ever again

This doesn't work anymore since Symbian Sign changed their policy, unless u can live with the stupid online signing which only work for certain applications, and need to upload the application to ss and wait for their approval... you have to get your cert else where...

What's the best music player application for n82 right now? I find the built in one not good enough...
