I think all CIMB cards (inclusive of DA) will eligible for the flexi pay plan. Give a call to the CS.

I was offered free for life HSBC credit card at the curve today.. they said only swipe 12 times a year will do no matter you apply for classic, gold or platinum...

but why their website didnt say free for life or swipe 12 times a year ?? so weird... another bluffing agent ??
*
The same description I read from the HSBC booth that came to my company. Swipe at least once a month to get the waiver.

Good question. Perhaps you could give a call to their CS and ask for clarification.

if the CS dont know about the free for life promo, next year they charge us then how we can prove they offer free for life card? No black and white ? sound fishy... hmm.gif
*
They really don't know anything. Let me share my friend's experience.

Two of my friends who signed for HSBC CC and at that time, there was a promotion of free annual fee for 3 years. After the first, they have been charged for annual fee. They have to call in for waiver and my friend fed up of it. I think the promotion is to open a saving account with HSBC and you'll get free annual fee for 3 years.

From my experience with HSBC, there's no integrity of information across the credit card division. So beware of it.

Finally my Maybank Petronas is approved! rclxm9.gif The CS told me that the card will send to my addr, but i dont recall that they have this option in the application form. and the staff that handle my application also said must collect from branch. shocking.gif Anyway, I told them to send it to the nearest  branch. biggrin.gif

Going to call the CIMB later regarding the flexi payment. hmm.gif
*
If you don't specify it, they'll send it to your mailing address.

Are you referring to CIMB?

If yes, then it just a flexi payment plan from CIMB.

You may give a try and during the application, remember to attach a copy of your current Maybank Classic.

I have both Visa Classic and Petronas Visa Gold. They're sharing the same credit limit.

Our CC's are internationally accepted. I've never heard of such thing before actually except for the fact that some of the international online merchants refuse to accept credit cards originating from Malaysia unless a photostat copy of that CC + ID verification is produced.
*
Any particular reason? Our cards are not secured enough? I thought we have chip based card.

If I'm not very mistaken, Malaysia used to be world no. 1 in credit card fraud not many years ago. Malaysia Boleh! smile.gif

I think and that's why there was a transition into chip based card if I remembered correctly.

I'm using PayPass a few times liao. I thought no signature is required? How come all merchants requested the card holder to sign the sales draft although the sales amount less than RM110?? shakehead.gif
*
You're not the only one who encountered that situation. I experienced it at KFC.

ya. MPH also request the same. doh.gif

while visa wave on the Carrefour doesnt need signature.

I consolidated all my CC usage to MBB Visa Classic and MBB Petronas Visa Gold.

I tried to use Visa Wave at Carrefour but it was slow. I asked the cashier to switch to the usual swipe method.
