Nokia N95 8GB gets assembled video

Hei wanna ask bout this...

Let say i want my PC to connect to internet via N95 8gb, is this possible or not?

If can, then that means if i subscribe the Maxis RM68 unlimited 3g access, then i can online using PC with N95 acting as modem wif connection of 3g, rite?

Oh and I wish to put some words about the plastic that's used on the back of the phone.

I felt it's the very same or similar plastic used on my Fujitsu S6240. My laptop has been used for a year now although not heavily, the plastic shows no sign of wear although it's an oil magnet (I have sweaty and oil skins) but no big deal, looks new with careful cleaning. So big thumbs up for the material...

Yes of course you can. This has been possible since the GPRS era.

I actually called Nokia Care and they are investigating the issues and shall keep me posted within a few days time. I guess it must be due to the Nokia server cannot recognise the 3 months free trial activation.

BTW, as of now also registration at www.nseries.com/mynokia is not available stating that IMEI is not valid. Nokia has not updated their DB yet i guess.

i use my mac and n95 for via bluetooth for my browsing. 3.5g seems quite fast around bukit bintang area

install it...after installed...where can i find the application?

when i press nokia map loader on my pc it say no storage medium detected.connect your device to your computer via USB.... but i already connect my n95 8gb via USB to my pc already

do you have ATI CCC installed? if yes, uninstall it, got conflict with that prog and map loader

Comsat or other AP set also come with 3 month voice navi?

ashame malaysia map not really updated

this isn't properly answer rite? mind if someone clarify about this? I went to the shop and almost bought the phone edi. but then saw that its CSL and the boss claimed that it is the authorised nokia manu. the price is around 2.5k+ So i wanna ask here, is CSL the original set?

Yes you can. My phone is from Comsat what... altho I know it's Singtel, it's still from Comsat in Malaysia.
To activate:

1. Go to Maps application
2. Then Option > Extra service
3. Click Add Navigation
4. Then you have to Accept a disclaimer
5. Then just click Purchase
6. Choose the region you want the navigation, it should be South East Asia for us
7. Once u select, it will check for FREE available license

IF your phone has it, you will get a message screen saying:
Trial 3 days
Free navigation license Region X 3 months.

If it is successful, later when you do the same step, it will say,you already have a license for this region.

IF your phone doesnt have the 3 mths free navigation, the message will say, you dont have and you need to buy.

It is stupid if sets from Avaxx doesnt have this. If that is the case, might as well you buy from Comsat, haha.

I dont think CSL is authorised Nokia distributor in Malaysia.

Well, I might be wrong, but if CSL is authorised, that's a cheap price you got!
But if CSL is not authorised, COMSAT AP set is cheaper now... can get for RM2200 I think?

CSL is not an authorised distributor. It's an AP company that provides 15 months warranty.
