Yea, cannot scroll up smoothly.

guys, what your average battery usage? I'm not a heavy user (gaming for 30 minutes, no songs, 2-3 call a day) but battery can last one day only.... need to charge every night.

Hmm..not really leh as my battery can last for at least 2 days with some light music listening, GPS and Edge (for push email).

I guess with just make call, can last about 3 days. BTW, full charge is 7 bars and i noted tat once dropped to 3 or 2 bars, very fast become 1 bar and got the low battery warning.

lol there you go, the official claimed talk time only 6 hours, so if you do 2~3 hours it's pretty normal that the battery can only last for a day.

I think if N95-1 I don't think you can even last for 24 hours...

now RM3k+ .. after a year become 1k+ .. after few year become few hundred .. nokia rules

where can i check which map did i downloaded inside my n95 8gb?

Whoever plans to visit the nokia care centre to fix their n95 8gb problem please go to the HQ in berjaya plaza... the other branches will all direct you to the HQ and their reasons will be this model is too new so they wont be able to do anything. So yea remember not to waste your time visit other branches.. only go to the one in berjaya plaza in front of times square

and btw maxis just charged me rm96.70 for 3g usage of 9670 kb which is equalavent to 9mb.. thats so crazy

i need some help on uploading map into my n95 8gb
i go to http://europe.nokia.com/A4509291 download nokia map loader and nokia map for n95... transfer nokia map for n95 to my n95 8gb

install it...after installed...where can i find the application?

when i press nokia map loader on my pc it say no storage medium detected.connect your device to your computer via USB.... but i already connect my n95 8gb via USB to my pc already

how to check my n95 8gb got install this software or not?

That's a new firmware for the original N95 instead of N95 8GB so it's not for us

The charges of upgrading firmware for warranty expired / unauthorized phones have always been RM30 which means they'll only be upgrading your firmware for the chinese input thing to work. It can easily be done by just changing the product code of your phone and then upgrade your firmware using Nokia Software Updater. I believe there's a guide in N95 thread to do so. You can change the product code back after upgrading your firmware if you're afraid that It may void your AP warranty.

Just looking at it now, theres also a WRT build for the N95 8GB - V15.0.002 (New firmware version?) I'm not sure on the current 8GB firmware versions

pay more for the extra warranties on LCD and Camera and accessories... CSL provides the same warranty as the Avaxx does (IMO) however, CSL has its own service center unlike Avaxx and Zitron, which you can just bring them to Nokia Service Centre (again, IMO). But, is it true that CLS is not an authorised distributor?

Edit : The IMEI numbers of CSL do match each other... I'm confused now...

Ok, lemme show you the screensnap of the navigation license I had. I already activated it... the reason I have it cud also be that my phone is from Singapore because if you check the hardwarezone sg, all N95 8GB users could have the free 3 mths navigation  Maybe you guys shud just try it and see if it works for your mobile.

First go to your Maps application, once it loads press Option > Extra Service


Then choose Add Navigation > Accept > Purchase (Don't worry, you are not purchasing when you do this)


Then select Region, I choose South East Asia. When I choose a pop up already said I already have the navigation license for this region.


So I try other regions for example for you guys. (In you guys case, click the South East Asia region, and a page with all the license, period and price will appear) Click Option > Update


In my case, I already activated my upgrade, that is why I got this.


When the first time I did it, instead of above, the screen said that I'll have 3 days trial and 3 mths navigation upgrade. I just click OK and then I automatically got the 3 months voice navigation. I know I dont pay anything because I am not asked to confirm payment etc.

TRY LAH! 

I think a lot of ppl already got the N95, it was only 7 mths different when they launch N95 8GB, I think a lot of N95 users dont upgrade.
Hmmm, I don't know la like that. You guys sure Malaysia authorised model can get the 3 mths free license e ah? But then... if your phone is AP from Europe, maybe the navigation license if for Europe region lor?

I reached there around 4pm and they still accept it lo. After that they might not...Dunno la haha just go there send the phone and to lepak lepak lo.

the caller photo id right
when ppl calls me i added a thumbnail (photo) to their contact
once they called me... the photo shows but too small how to see the photo
anyone knows can adjust size of the caller photo?
or we cant adjust?

Sigh. How come? I have the strongest feeling that the Singtel branded phone also lock the firmware. Like Vodafone UK. Altho the it's SIM FREE, the firmware is always branded to the telco. Sieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!
