Yes you can. My phone is from Comsat what... altho I know it's Singtel, it's still from Comsat in Malaysia.
To activate:

1. Go to Maps application
2. Then Option > Extra service
3. Click Add Navigation
4. Then you have to Accept a disclaimer
5. Then just click Purchase
6. Choose the region you want the navigation, it should be South East Asia for us
7. Once u select, it will check for FREE available license

IF your phone has it, you will get a message screen saying:
Trial 3 days
Free navigation license Region X 3 months.

If it is successful, later when you do the same step, it will say,you already have a license for this region.

IF your phone doesnt have the 3 mths free navigation, the message will say, you dont have and you need to buy.

It is stupid if sets from Avaxx doesnt have this. If that is the case, might as well you buy from Comsat, haha.

3 authorised distributor for Nokia is Zitron, Avaxx and iMobile, right?
I dont think CSL is authorised Nokia distributor in Malaysia.

Well, I might be wrong, but if CSL is authorised, that's a cheap price you got!
But if CSL is not authorised, COMSAT AP set is cheaper now... can get for RM2200 I think?
*
CSL is not an authorised distributor. It's an AP company that provides 15 months warranty.

Anyone can answer my question...?  sad.gif

I'm heading to nokia care tomorrow (too busy last 2 days) but I wish to confirm whether there's the chinese stroke on the keypads of the Avaxx/Zitron units? Thanks in advance... notworthy.gif

Well I think it depends on the region. Like my set. It's original from nokia and branded vodafone but there is no chinese keystrokes or whatsoever on the keypad...so not really sure about this issue actually. But yeah, the ones that I bought back in Malaysia do have some chinese keystrokes, so to the earlier thread reply, do check it out with them...

Err, my original was either Zitron or Avaxx. The rest are considered AP.
My mistake, should replace original with authorised laugh.gif

ViRa san do you have any idea how much a keypad cost?hmm.gif

I'm facing a dilemma now, I don't know if I should purchase a keypad from Nokia and let the AP to do it, or simply let Nokia do it but will totally void the AP warranty (they do provide valid warranty and all written black and white) cause there's stickers covered the screws... ohmy.gif

Anyway I think my handset is rock solid that I don't think I need warranty anyway, wish me good luck lol...
*
Your AP set is warrantied by what company? AFAIK, some of the AP company has chinese keypad where u can request to change (dont know whether they got charge or not).

If they don't have, ask them whether they can change for you the keypad if u buy & give them one. If they say yes, might as well buy & let your AP service centre to change it nod.gif

I noticed that the recent call list a bit not so user friendly, let say i called a person house number and when checked the recent call list it shows the person name with a mobile icon next to it but in actual fact this is his house number.

It will be great if it can show the exact number that i called under the person name.
*
It depends on whether you saved his house no. under mobile, tel, fax etc.....coz icon based on that sweat.gif

hey , let say if i have a folder with images and i dont want it to pop up in the gallery  , Is there any way to do this ?
*
Hide the files (images) by using 3rd party software.

(or you may hide the folder by connecting your phone to the PC, but I don't know whether this works or not. Never tried laugh.gif )
