one kid, then take care of 2 parents, then touchwood take care of their parents....

just my 2 cents, the world is already a very lonely place despite the internet, keep the other one. Initially thought we will be okay with one, but after covid, companionship is easily taken for granted.

Anyone here or your wife has had unplanned pregnancy? What was your final decision?

I've just found out my wife is pregnant again. All my life, I've only worn protection 3 times. I was always so sure of myself but this finally happened. Wife should be around 4 weeks pregnant now. Our financial situation isn't that great at the moment, and I'm really stressed out on what action we should take next.
Worse comes to worst, we will need to really buckle up, eat mixed rice everyday and no more vacation, not even local holidays.

Care to share any similar experience?

Yo man. How are things at your end? Hope everything is OK.

How many kids u have already?
Since pregnant already - keep it. Later during birth - if through C-Section surgery ask them to 'ikat' the 'peranakan'. (Bilateral tubal ligation)
ie: tutup kilang. (no more preggy)

then after this you piap wifuuuu can panzhuut-zhut-zhut all you want inside - also no problem.

if birth via normal vaginal delivery - then immediately before discharge - ask for appointment for to 'ikat'. Your wifuu will have to come again some other day to do the procedure.

why no ask husband potong (vasectomy) ?

yes me...

Its not just financial but also a lot of time.

baby always want to be on my lap or my wife's lap.

The issue isn't pregnancy time, the issue is after birth.

I am not kidding you...when you are stressed at work and come back to finish work, you have to feed baby, put baby to sleep, baby also cannot be left on in the baby cott too long, change diapers, bath baby, sing song to baby, morning rush baby to day care then go to work, then come back pick up.

Fortunately my baby easy to sleep except when sick.

But I tell you, its worth it. I see my baby's face so cute, the way smile back at me and make those cuddly baby sounds. Also my eldest child loved the baby very much.

My advice...keep the baby. Yes its a lot of suffering but its worth it. When I raised my eldest child, my child is not only my precious child but also my buddy and best friend.

you won't gain anything if you don't fight for it.

'that one can also.
but if wifuu already want to tutup kilang - then much easier to do when already doing c-section. (operate)

Go ahead with the pregnancy. Do not abort no matter what. You won't regret it down the road and might thank yourself in keeping the pregnancy years later in hindsight.

Hang in there, Bro. My wife is 45 and I am 48, and we had our first child last year. After 20 years of waiting, and due to my wife having PCOS and now wanting the operation, we just left things as it was, prayed and got on with our lives.

And then Wife got pregnant. More renewed praying and we finally decided to keep the baby whatever NIPT said. And I tell you, at our age, EVERY THING AND EVERY DAY IS A STRUGGLE. Financial strain, holidays out the window, sleep out the window and the cold-sweat thinking that she'll only be 12 when I retire. But that was the hand we were dealt and we'll play it to the end. So, hang in there, whatever you decide.

I actually aborted when I found out I was preggy. I have 2 kids already and having a 3rd one will really stress us out financially. Long story short, sometimes I feel regret for not keeping her/him. But at times I felt I made the right decision because our financial now is just nice for a family of four...Hope you make the right decision and don't regret it no matter what.

Don't blame yourself, cuz previously the situation is different, what if that situation still the same until now, both of you will stress and struggle each month

Yes, confirm will stress as that time we were not financially stable. every month also just enough to meet ends. Sometimes not enough and we need to borrow money sad.gif
So, it it's an unplanned pregnancy really need to think properly if financial not stable. If got money, then is ok lah. Go ahead, no need think twice.

Never treated it medically as she is afraid of needles. We just let it be and prayed. So the pregnancy was a miracle for us... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
