after 24 months drop back to 500mbps?

i check my unifi 500Mbps this morning .... unifi speedtest
YES mine too went to 100mbps down /100 up . on my PC lan . usually 500

maybe another mess from TM ?

it's ok la, I got 139 for 500mb free 6 months, free Disney, some use termination get 90 even for 500mb.

basically all same just pull here patch there kind of situation

wondering how you guys notice the internet is slow?
example:
- Specify website will more obviously slow?
- Online video streaming slow down?
- you run speedtest every day to monitor?

Want to ask:
I'm using ZTE GPON ONT, ZXHN F620 (ONU) + own router, so far working stable.
I get a FOC Huawei GPON (HG8240H5) from my fren, I plug in fiber and connect LAN cable to LAN1, my router cannot connect to internet.
Is there any setting for the Huawei? Of Huawei unit had been locked to the specific ISP?
Which is better between these 2 GPON? ZTE or Huawei?

Did you configure the ONT authentication for your replacement ONU ?
It is not plug and play you know ? This is not Streamyx.

I remember last time I did try on another ONU, if not mistaken is plug-n-play (pnp).

Always visit same website for leisure or for work and you will notice lag in. loading then speed test lor

The password is ONU password. Not the same as the PPPOe authentication password.
Last time i manage to get the password from my old ONU. If not , its quite difficult to get it from TM even if you call their helpline, they wont give you easily.

I didnt set the serial number. It is by default there already.

100Mbps - private IP
300Mbps - private IP
500Mbps - public IP or private IP ?
1Gbps - public IP
2Gbps - public IP

Because I do have plan to switch to SWU but my concern is for the IP as my streaming stuffs requires public IP. Currently I'm on 1Gbps (Pro Upgrade) RM239 Without Contract

I never know need a code for ONU, wondering how to get the code? Call Unifi? Ask the technician who just setup for my new Combo Box?


How to identifiy that my IP is public or Private?
Each time router reboot, I'll get new IP = Is public?

I made request through live chat last Thursday (cause I can't see the account more so termination request botton in unifiportal), wondering what's the typical processing time to receive call?

Cause I have yet even receiver their SMS regarding my termination request.

It may take up to 3 weeks for them to call you. So just gotta be patient and don't miss the calls.

Yes, they won't proceed to terminate without the confirmation from the owner.

check your IP from whatismyipaddress & compared your IP from your router.

If its the same, then its public. If its not, then its private.

So, if public, after reboot, it will generate a new ip ? Corect me if'm wrong
