I thought connect to monitor need to find HDMI to USB c. not USB c to USB c. unless your monitor is plug via USB c
*
There are monitors that support video in via USB C. I have one portable monitor that takes usb, no problem using mac mini m1/m2 connect via usb C to monitor usb c.

3 usb-c at the back can connect monitor.

Three Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports with support for:

USB 4 (up to 40 Gbps)

According to this video avoiding HDMI port is the way to go.

I'm using 27" 2k monitor, don't trust the "must use 4k at least" or HiDPI myth online. I'm not seeing any blur text on 2K without using betterdisplay, I have another same specs (albeit lower end) monitor connects to windows 11 side by side and I can't see any different between the two. Maybe I don't have sharp eye.

What does betterdisplay bring to the table?

Not sure actually, Some say not much different while others say very effective on enable HiDPI on native resolution. It's taken up system GPU and CPU resources so I choose not to try. I'm satisfied with what I get without any tweaking. If someone tried it and do find it's worth the hassle please share your experience here.

I bought 28” 4k Acer monitor in 2021 around RM1100. I think quite affordable already. They also realeased newer model this year with 160hz 4k around 1300. Was even tempted to get it for gaming. But cannot find the model now. Forgotten the model number..
