wow finally apple has increased the base model RAM to 16gb.. that makes 16/512 version more accessible 👍

btw does anyone know if MOE primary school teachers are eligible to get education pricing as well, or is it only for higher education lecturers?

I hope this brings down the price of used Mac Mini... surely one can't sell a previous M1/M2 Mac Mini with 16GB for more than a new M4 Mac Mini (RM2500)

Seems like the power button is designed at the bottom of the device.

I think sell at facebook marketplace at least better price than trade in. Since I'm not in peninsula also, no apple store here. Only can get EDU from apple.com and not from Switch. =p

Will try to sell my M2 based Mac Mini around 1600-1800.. which I bought at edu price too.. Any idea when will available in Malaysia base on previous mac mini m2 after US launched?

Will the new M4 base spec be much better at playing games compared to base M1/M2 or just marginally better?

I’m considering to get the base M4 to play world of Warcraft

monitor - should be fine if it supports HDMI input/you have a usb-C or HDMI to DP adapter for your monitor
keyboard and mouse - if bluetooth no problem; else if it's wired connection you will need a usb-c to usb A hub at least since there are no longer USB A port on the new m4 mini

bluetooth peripherals is a hit or miss. I'm on M1 macbook air and it's wonky as well. I know it's still happening across all devices from M1 till M4 devices.
