ya, true also, a lot gerbils keeper now keeping quite or due to some reason or just not keep breeding. you still have few, i just left the 1st one i got from you, yuki. left her alone in the tank only.

wah, why all the gerbs being mix up??? some more put with syrian, later sure fight till death.
i think now mostly in pet shop all is inbredding one... so life span very short only.

Hi everyone, I need some help urgently. One of my gerbils is having difficulty in breathing and her weight is dropping fast. She only sleeps and I will have to wake her up to feed her since she wouldn't eat from the bowl. Actually do vets treat gerbil?? I'm staying at Bandar Sungai Long... if anyone knows any vet that treat gerbil nearby my area please do tell me asap. Thank you.

difficult in breathing? is she eat the wrong thing?
do you try to give her vitamin or any other supplement?

Yeah, she seems to have difficulty in breathing since 2 days ago. Can hear the sound like nose stuck this afternoon when I checked on her. She's very weak and lose ALOT of weight. I afraid she might die if this drags on.

Check her teeth, but probably not the reason. Bloody/wet nose?

No bloody nose.. only weezing sound like having flu. She still survive till now but very thin and weak. She sleeps alot. I checked her teeth.. its normal. I can't do anything to help

so sorry to hear that ..have u bring her to any vet? what is she eating now? Maybe u can try syringe feed her
with oxbow critical care..must be really hard for you to see her in that condition..

U can always use LC-Vit directly onto pets, such as gerbils, i did do that before, when mine are in serious injuries, no appetite.

The best is to the VET asap.

Hope she recovers k. Dont worry. Calm down k.

yaya, use the LC vit, if not then just bring to the vet.

where can I get the LC Vit? Do cheras Petsmore have it?? Also, the vet at my place don't treat gerbils.. can anyone recommend me a vet who can? Prefer around cheras area.

as fast as they came n took our hearts away ... seems gerbil fever has gone with the wind ... no more breeder selling gerbils? am not comfortable buying from shop ...
