as a beginner which one do u guys suggest me to start with,
hamster or gerbil? gerbils look kind of cute.. which one easier to take care.. how about the cost of taking care of them?coz i was thinkg of getting the glider at first but then its better to start with something easier..  |

still saving up my money to get gerbils.. need to do thorough studies about gerbils and maybe later i'll join the gerbils bandwagon... |

i dont think wheels are necessary for gerbil..
they'll just chew it.. and i hope you have lots of fund to breed the gerbils.. breed with ethics ya..  |

just got 2 female gerbils from my friend.
he doesnt have time for them anymore so i bought the gerbils. the colour are red eyed white and Argente cream. named them Luna and Lola. need to buy some additional accessories for them.. btw, izzit normal for them to dig the tank? |

after they dig the bedding.. they are digging the tank.scratching the bottom of then tank.maybe they feel stress coz and doesnt settle down yet with new surrounding and new owner.
right now i'm studying the gene table of gerbil genetics. interested in the gerbil different colours. |

guys. what is the definition of a tame gerbil?
i think mine are not tame enough la.. they dont line to be picked up and put outside the tank. but they do take food from my hand. |
