Yes, i was surprised when i see AMEX option there. AirAsia is the first budget airline accept AMEX.... rocks!!!! Hope Mas will follow too

Tried AMEX on Petronas self service kiosk at Bayan Baru but failed.

Guess need to switch to Shell.

i never use petronas anymore even the station is much more convenient and closer to me.... simply because they not accept AMEX. Shell is good!

Not all Shell accepts Amex though majority of them does. Thus far, it's failed me once, or was it twice

So far no failed transaction at Shell. Tried twice.

just got amex credit cards.. apply it because of 8x points.. hope it can be use in Petronas.. will try it later tonight..

Do not put high hope on Petronas. A forumer shared his/her bad experiences previously.

Someone said you have to swipe your AMEX at the Petronas station counter so your card will be approved. The Petronas petrol kiosk doesn't accept AMEX, it has to be done inside.

AhH.. well I certainly didn't know that but what's the point of using CC if U haf to walk and make payment at the counter !

Just tell the counter people U want full-tank. They will open the pump for U and when you're done, go back into the counter and make your payment.

PS: Don't ask me what happens if U drove away without paying

just test my AMEX at petronas.. card can be read, but got error 56.. tomorrow will try to test at few other petronas station..

It has no problem recognizing the card. Just the transaction cannot go through. I faced the same thing.
