The DDI form that I submitted for my Visa is from Great Eastern. There's no option for AMEX.

Nope. My motor insurance is with AIG and they don't accept AMEX and neither does Great Eastern Life which i hold a life insurance policy with.

Eh ? I didn't know Great Eastern provide direct debit for CC too. Last time my mom used the direct debit service from her Public Bank savings account but freaking Public Bank charged her RM10 for each transaction and so she canceled as soon as she found out. We all now pay for a full whole year policy at one go to make sure we won't miss a payment.

@MilesAndMore,
I'm not sure about direct debit for insurances but I'm quite sure GEL allows online payment through several channels. For one, M2U - I believe there were 3 options; don't remember them now and left the slip in the office tongue.gif

If i'm not mistaken, PB online has Great Eastern as one of its payees too. But we prefer to settle it in credit card, so we can get the points biggrin.gif

@David83,
No - there's no additional charges if you use M2U to make payment to GEL.

There is no extra charge if you pay your Great Eastern policy via PB online. They will however charge you RM10 for standing instruction.

@MilesAndMore,
Now that's weird. I have Standing Instructions with Citibank for Prudential and there's no additional surcharges by the bank.

According to PBB, they will charge you RM10 as service fee to transfer fund to another bank's account. And in this case i can only assume that Great Eastern main bank is with other bank, not PBB. That's why they need to charge me RM10/transaction.

Hey guys... I think AirAsia.com is the first and only Malaysian based web site which accept AMEX card. what you guys think? can you think of other sites (malaysian) that accept amex too?
