Hey guys... I think AirAsia.com is the first and only Malaysian based web site which accept AMEX card. what you guys think? can you think of other sites (malaysian) that accept amex too?

Complimentary access to Plaza Premium Lounge. This applies to American Express Gold Charge charges of above RM2,000 for air tickets or travel packages booked through our Gold Travel Service* partners

This one seems unattractive as most of the card out there offer access like eon citibank alliance etc..

I don't know what is shell or caltex rebate program. FYI, I use Esso/Mobil where you will get RM15 petrol for every 1000 smiles points (RM1=1 smiles point) which is equivalent to 1.5% rebate.

Therefore with the current 8X MR and Amex cash back program where you get RM1 for every 200 points, the total cash back is 5.5% Here's the calculation:

Fill petrol RM1000 = 8000 MR points = cash rebate RM40
Smile Point 1000 = RM15 petrol

Total Rebate = RM55 for RM1000 petrol or 5.5% rebate. If you have turbo like me, the cash back percentage increases.

Both can be swiped at the self service kiosk. That's why I'm recommending you.
