Hehe... Yaya.. The problem is, normally they are not playing the toy, they are bitting the slippers or shoes, if you want to take the shoes off, they will sound like very angry and bark at you~~ tongue.gif Naughty puppy~~ biggrin.gif

thanks oh...ya that time he's only around 2 months plus.he's not yet 4 months but going to be in 3 days time lor.lolz
he looked big coz he follow his parents.both are big bones.summo now he looks skinny coz it's growing stage.during 4 - 7th month,he'll look skinny like malnutrition and will look ugly one.now also he is different than the last time i saw him.last time he had furry fur purely white cream colour.now it's this colour.exactly going to be like his mum's.his dad's fur is dark golden in colour.pretty hard to find this colour around lor.lolz
i m not sure bt choi choi lor whether she'll follow the same stage as ben or not.but taking pictures will come in handy as u can notice the difference in her.

when ben poo, there's no sign of blood.his poo also not smelly but smell nice wor...maybe it's the proformance food i gave him plus the canned food.eat very 'ho liao' food.
i would suggest you get 2nd opinion from other vet and see bt her poo and her health.coz different vets got different opinions and different expertise.some may be good in surgeries, some may be good in skin diseases and other illnesses.

Hehe.. Pet shop ppl told me the golden colour 1 more expensive and is Australian breed, but i still like creamy colour 1, the colour changed from the creamy to golden, not sure my choi choi will change colour or not, but i can see her colour at the back there is now darker already. I think i will know when she is around ben's age~~ biggrin.gif

hmmm....in my opinion,i think dark golden pups are sold more expensive than golden coz they are rare and mostly found in overseas retrievers.like my case, ben's dad is australian, mum is thai.i do feel that his ear colour is getting darker like his dad's.dark golden and golden is totally different.golden is light colour one.dark golden is more like dark reddish with golden.too bad i don't have the pics of them.maybe later on when i pay my breeder a visit when wanna take the mka cert plus transfership form from him....hehe

daisy looks like a LR.short fur but don't know ler.maybe a gr as well...very innocent looking.

i think it's too young to train put down.go slowly.at this time, now my ben also very playful.i need to calm him down by training him to sit b4 giving his treats or his lunch/dinner lor.now he gladly sits down.now i'm training him to give paw and down.when our pups took something n don't want give it to you,it means he wants to play.when u try to take from him,did he like playfully growl softly?if he did, then he wanna play.gently take the toy from him from his mouth ask him to let go,he'll gladly let it go.hehe.hope it helps
*
Yes i am going slowly on him now but still it annoys me when he doesnt wana let go laugh.gif
He can do sit, down and hand quite well already
But other commands shakehead.gif

golden where got dark choc one..i heard got black lor.but in overseas got lor.icic.for me,if creamer colour also,is during pups stage but sooner or later sure turn colour one.unless u buy a purebreed english retriever.that is purely white.bt sure expensive lor...creamer colour tend to get dirty easily than dark golden.last time ben's sis and him went to play under the bike and kena the oil...ben's pretty obvious while his sis,not so obvious.she's dark golden in colour btq.missed her so much.

Labrador is a large breed but they very friendly, but when they are puppy you must train them so that they will listen to you. Sometimes doggy might bite during teething so need to be patience and teach them loo. biggrin.gif

Dog should bark normally, but my choi choi only will bark when she want to play with us =.=|| Naughty gal~ tongue.gif Hehe... i think labrador is quite friendly so i think they won't really bark at stranger except you train them to~ biggrin.gif

You can buy everything at the pet shop there when you buy the dog, you can research it 1st as well... biggrin.gif But, bear in mind, don't buy large pack kibbles 1st, buy a small 1 and let your puppy try 1st, if it likes it then only go for large packet~~ biggrin.gif hope you can get your doggy soon~~ smile.gif

i suggest u go ipoh garden there and have a look 1st.no hurry to buy right?research as much as u can bt the breed whether r u capable of handling large breed dog.it will bark for a reason.but it's NOT A WATCHDOG NOR PROTECT U unless you trained the pup to be protective of the house etc.but usually in this case, retrievers aren't the best watchdogs.best is rotties, gsd or dobermans.like ben,he only barks when my other dog barks other dogs or when he's hungry.
correction - the word 'chain' is leash.it's best train the pup with the leash when u go for a walk.from the day u bought the pup,ps dun chain him/her up immediately.make a connection with the pup so that he/she gets familiar with the new environment etc.btw, ben's now going to be 4 months in 2 days time.n yet,he is huge for his age right now.so all this u have to ask yourself whether r u capable to handle such a big dog.they're smart but may act dumb.i've been scolding ben many times over n over again for peeing n pooping in the house.if i got the chance,i sure put him out of the hse but due to the current contruction on my front porch,i couldn't let him out as yet.at least till the gates has arrived.it takes patience and time to train them commands, toilet train etc..i rest my case

bravo lovely gal.you've grown a lot... rclxms.gif
yes, holy cross, the best is train them from young.you can get supplies when you already have the pup or when u purchase it.however, downside of petshops is u dun get to see the pups' parents nor know their genetic history if they have problems with HD etc.thus, taking frm breeders is the best choice and i think u can find pretty a lot of breeders in ipoh.just research as much as u can bt the breed, their temperament whether all these traits can suit you, your family and ur home environment.
my cousin's golden and labs don't bark at strangers instead being utmost extremely friendly.imagine having robbers wanna rob ur house, they are easily fooled by any treats given by the robbers.bear in mind, retreivers love eatings.known for greedy eaters.

I think I am older than you la, ok? I just new in take care of dog. biggrin.gif I just learn from my experience and ask HolyCross to take note of the part that i missed out ~~ biggrin.gif

@HolyCross
I will recommend you to buy everything 1st before you get the pup, basic thing like bowl, leash, collar, cage/play pen(if you need to) and some soft toys~~ biggrin.gif

Oh ya... about the food, no matter you buy from breeder/pet shop, normally they will feed the dog to show you that the dog is healthy. You can request them to feed the kibble and ask them the brand. smile.gif Buy a small pack and test loo. biggrin.gif Good luck~~ smile.gif
