hi there,pls do your research b4 you get a golden or lab.as i know of,ipoh got lot of breeders.pls do not buy from petshop.i would advise you to see the puppy's parents first.and you can enquire the breeder anything bout their history etc. pls review my other threads as well.i have given some links as well.

hi Bigben,i just realized you got message ler...hehe...overlooked.i've viewed royal canin ingredients ade.quite ok but don't like corn gluten meal.

if Ben loves RC,then i have no objections but for me,i want a dry food that doesn't contain corn,gluten etc.thus,having holistic food is a good choice.

All dogs have their own unique looks. The difference with lab and GR is their fur. GR got longer fur, which would require a daily brush so there would be no tangles. For lab, also need to brush to that the dead fur comes out but you can do weekly brushing instead of a daily brush. Both dogs are similar in weight and size but they can get overweight if you feed food that is too rich. This can cause both breeds to suffer from joint problems when they are older.

About tummy.... big is coz got worms or bloated with air. It has nothing to do with the breed. Some petshops do not practice good hygiene and good puppy health, so they sometimes never deworm the pup or the pup eat other dog's poop, which can cause worms too. So never buy a puppy with bloated balloon tummy.

RM 650 only?    With MKA cert or without? If without cert, the parents got cert or not? RM650 is quite cheap for a labrador if it got cert. My golden lab also need RM600

I have read many pages in this topic and realize that HolyCross would like to buy a pet.

Here is my opinion, LR & GR basically is a very smart dog, however, if u wan to use it to guard ur hse like fierce large breed do is very hard because they are friendly dog.

When they r puppy must well train them, give them freedom, dun everyday also put them in the cage or tie them in ur garden, it is no good for them. Actually they also same like human got thinking one.

Think properly before u buy a GR too. Many of the owner love them very much when they are puppy, because they really damn damn cute. But after they grow start dislike them because their fur. However LR do not have much of this problems.

in my case,ben is damn friendly to anyone including the contractors doing my house right now.and neighbours as well.he don't bark at all.if u wan a good watchdog,u shud get a gsd or doberman or even a rottie which is better lor.my cousin's labs only bark at strangers and don't bite them.but their barks is powerful solid one...hehe...same as mine too.
