Lol  laugh.gif  yalor, he can polish off the end very fast one  sweat.gif.
I keep replacing them now and then.

Shushu usually has 2 bones, one new and one retired, but he refused to let kero touch any of his bones.
Kero has one also but shushu stole and chew kero's one until gone liao.
Dunno why, kero enjoy stealing shushu bones also rather than chew on his one last time.  rclxub.gif

here is a picture of shushu with kero's bone:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Was so scared he swallow the tiny thing. Now thrown away liao.

sweat.gif  sweat.gif Kero is picky and slow eater so that's why he is thin lor.... when he eats, must isolate him inside a cage then only he will finish his food. If not, keep playing and don't want to eat.  mad.gif
*
Furkids are like that la, always think the others have better/yummier treats than them. Abby and Chelsea also switch last time doh.gif

I thought CKCS are all slim slim de, so I think Kero's not really thin le but if want to fatten him up - feed him with wet food. However, Shushu looks a little thin, last time stockier looks more yeng brows.gif

wah.. very gold gold color... no wonder call it goldy tongue.gif

Goldy reminds me of Rainie. I bet she'll grow up to be a stocky dog. wub.gif I wuv stocky doggies!!

haha..mine also..play only..dun wan eat

I'm sending Abu to training ("Dog's National Service" - coz I dun get to see him for a month rclxub.gif )
*
Hamster9 hor, let Bubu enjoy puppyhood a few more weeks le. Btw, how's Queenie, she's sooooooooooo big girl now. Last time can tumble onto my lap, now if do that again, sure can bulldoze me down. LOL

QUOTE(won @ Dec 19 2007, 04:00 PM)
Hmmm, speaking of colour - just wondering if anyone golden is in rich brown colour?
So far from most of the golden picture posted are either beige or goldish one.
What is your preference colour?  hmm.gif
huh? Abu goes training ar?  ohmy.gif How come? what training wor?
I think shushu need personal trainer too, coz i can't seem to control him well  sad.gif
As for kero, he need intensive potty training, which i am going to give him once i am on leave for the year end.  mad.gif
*
I personally like GR with light golden fur and tummy whitish - look very dignified. For Labbies however, I absolutely love it if their body is light cream colour and their ears a darker shade. Very very cute. Last time before we had Chelsea, I wanted a chocolate Labbie and found a breeder in Shah Alam. Too bad the females are all sold out and left males only.

One of my dream dogs --> big boned chocolate Labbie.

haha..he very naughty so send for obedience class. Actually the main reason is the toilet training part. He is ok in poo-ing in the pet;s room but if i were to bring him to outstation etc..he gets confused. So finally I made up my mind to get him a tray and send him to the trainer to teach him to poo in the tray la.

Queen is good enough. No need train  icon_rolleyes.gif

laugh.gif Bubu naughty meh? I see his pic, blur blur only. At least he gets confused when go outstation. Won's Kero more adventurous. laugh.gif

Hmmm, I think maybe when you bring goldie out for walk, be more observant of what she is doing so if she started puting stuff in her mouth, quickly take it out and scolded her. Just scare that someday, she might swallow something poisonous which might be fatal. sad.gif

Hmmm, today when I bring shushu to his vet for his annual injection, the vet told me something quite sad.
He said yesterday a GR died. The GR ran out of his house and someone just hit it on its head so bad until the head has a hole and was bleeding nonstop. The poor GR couldn't even stand up anymore by the time the owner found him - he was crawling on the floor. The owner rushed the GR to the vet but it was already too late. cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

The vet was very sad when he saw shushu today coz the GR look almost like shushu. He said it was a very happy and friendly dog and how could someone be so brutal and hurt the poor harmless thing. It happen just in a day - and the owner just lost his beloved dog without even knowing who is the culprit. mad.gif

I hope everyone try their best to keep their retrievers safe and secure in their house. I know sometimes our furkids are adventurous rascals, but once they are outside on their own, you will never know if they meet somebody as sick as that. Even though they are big size and look flex.gif , they are super friendly and wouldn't be able to protect themself. sad.gif sad.gif

hmmm...
do you take your dog out for a hike/walk often? How long was last weekend trip?
I think it probably has not enough stamina.
It would be advisable to start slowly, take it out for daily walk for about 10-15 minute first and gradually increase the time to increase its stamina.
Don't over exercise the dog, coz it may collapse. -> see below:

QUOTE
it is possible to over exercise a dog. Dogs who are devoted to their owners may not complain even if they are tired. In an intense urge to please the owner, the dog may continue to exercise till it collapses. This should be avoided under all circumstances. While exercise is extremely important for a dog as it is for humans, the type of exercise varies based on age, breed, and health conditions of the dog. A young pup may have lots of energy while a old or over weight dog will not be the same. Hence running may be suitable for a certain dog but walking may be best for the other. Signs of fatigue should be looked for. The dog can pant excessively, it may give a blank stare, the lips and the face may loose color, or it may even have bleeding paws. If you see any of these signs you should stop immediately. Moreover, do make sure you give enough water to your dog such that it does not dehydrate.

hope this helps!

Sad to heard a GR just kill like that, this GR friendly but know nothing about danger on the road. like Ben one time run out of the house running very fast toward a T junction with alot of car travel i was chasing him look at the junction i was thinking finish if he run through sure knock down by car rclxub.gif but thank God before the junction he just turn left and go by the side of the road thumbup.gif and stop wait cos he can't see me... after i got him back scold him vmad.gif really shock me..
color i still like creamy golden this type solid built look especially the head big.. for chocolate retriever normally his mouth is abit longer, taller and slimer

URGH! Goldy lately had been really naughty. Tearing up the papers, whining non stop because he wants to get into the house (as she's kinda huge we have to let her roam free at the backyard only + house renovating) >_<

and she's sooooooo manja! if we let her in the house for a while, she'll cry like a baby wanting for hugs and more hugs! sweat.gif

she's such a naughty girl!

i just spend one week holiday to toilet trained kero. rclxub.gif What i can say now is he is about 50% success only. Kero also like to pee on my floormat all the time.

Let me know if the training is good. I might consider, but i think i will really miss kero if he is away for 20 days sad.gif

Simchi!!! U r back! biggrin.gif
How's your vacation?
Yalor, kero & shushu very buddy buddy now - partners in crime in fact.
Shushu is not allowed to go up the sofa but kero always sneak up and push all the pillow down. Then, both of them will chew and carry the pillows all over the room... rclxub.gif

Happy new year to you too Simchi biggrin.gif
Nevermind lor, when you come back that time then can sayang her a lot alot too.
Yah, it is fun to see them together, but recently I am having a headache with shushu. Dunno he is copying kero or not, since kero is here - my "normally crazy about food" shushu has become very picky in food - he is refusing to eat his kibbles!! shocking.gif doh.gif
I am giving him the "don't eat, no other treat or food" treatment but it doesn't seem that effective. Probably there is another partner in crime and both of them just continue playing with each other.

p/s: Wah, so nice can see lots of doggies in UK and Europe - they must have very nice coat, since the weather is much more cooling.
