Last movie I watched was Defiance.
Awesome show to be honest. I like how the story is told.
Could feel Daniel Craig's British accent at some points laugh.gif

I liked Defiance too but it just didn't managed to reach the heights the likes of The Pianist achieved.

The Pianist was great yes...but i think Schindler's List takes the cake for being the most realistic...feel like watching a documentary...

Schindler's List > The Pianist > Defiance

Schindler's List is one of my fav movies, I have to agree with you. It's not just realistic, it's brutally honest.

Schindler's List is really nice
last movie I watch was The Elephant Man
I watch it on youtube, but I think it's really magnificent
It shows the beauty and dark side of human in a true story

before that was Mystic River, really nice one imo

Oh boy.

Oh My Goodness, what a movie!

I'm not sure if I can put into word what I'd experience whilst I was watching the movie!

Here is an attempt to do so, bewilderment, puzzlement, humor, shock, terror, NAUSEA!!!! shocking.gif

I have to hand it to the Koreans for making the MOST SICK movie I have ever had the chance to experience!!!!

Kudos to Min-sik Choi for his role as Dae-su Oh. His physical and mental changes in the movie is MOST palpable!!!!

Will Smith is said play his role in the American version, I DON'T think he can pull it off. I DON'T think the American production is going to be BALLSY enough to STICK to the original material!

angels & demons - gave a 6.5 out of 10. not as good as DVC, imho. din read the book, but based on viewer's comment, it seems they leave out a few main characters and sub story plot that somehow made the book a good read.

Dayum. I just read full synopsis for this movie. Spoilt the story for myself lolol

Sounds very epic-ly sadistic.

Ponyo - First half is incredible. Second half lacks a bit of energy, and the story isnt that well told or realized in the final act. Pity really, as this could have been an Up beater. Still, it is absolutely gobsmackingly amazing to look at. Highly recommended.

P/S: I'm noticing a second-half-isn't-as-good-as-first-half trend in the movies I watch lately. lol

A masterpiece.

Ponyo is also by Miyazaki, for those who didnt know, and I'm still head over heels over it. It's just too damn adorable and cute. The incredible scene where Ponyo runs on waves made from big blue fish makes me so damn happy inside. The drawing, with clear, hard lines and vivid pastel colours... it's just so easy to fall in love with it. I unreservedly recommend it to anyone who isnt put off by animation.

You should try find Chan Woo Park other two revenge movie.Old Boy is the best, but "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" is equally engrossing.Whereas "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" miss the mark a little but had cameos of all the cast from his Vengeance movies.

The American version suppose to base on manga but it's a little different from movie. As for the revelation is not as poetic as the movie. The manga provide a basis of characters and storyline, somehow the movie did quite a lot of changes that improved over the manga.

I'm sorry but no it's unfair to say Murderer has copied elements from Orphan. It was even released earlier than Orphan. (Officially 9th of July in theaters of Hong Kong)
It's just the coincidence I guess for the 2 film to have almost the same twist at the end to be released in the same month.
