The Pianist was great yes...but i think Schindler's List takes the cake for being the most realistic...feel like watching a documentary...

QUOTE(yuka @ Oct 25 2009, 10:37 PM) Just watched "Knowing". What can i comment is... *speechless* lol...i agree...too weird... *the ending part is too religious for me btw...manage to watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs today...n i must say...this movie is AWESOME!!! ridiculous comedic elements in almost every scenes+good story+imaginative (ice-cream snow?? yummy!!!)... highly recommended...8.5/10!! on a side note...i would've enjoyed this movie more if not because of some brats keep making noise by running ups n down in the theater throughout the whole movie!!!! stupid parents!!!!!!!!! |

QUOTE(dundermifflin @ Oct 22 2010, 07:38 AM) Serenity [2005] u hav to watch Firefly first to fully appreciate Serenity...i did this n it was exciting to see how the special effect got a total make over...it feels like watching the old tv series star trek and get the series finale in a JJ Abrams star trek remake quality...plus they also resolve the main plot from the series...few weeks ago, i read somewhere that this film listed as 'The Greatest Science Fiction of All Time' (poll made by movie magazine or something). TBH, i never heard of it.. and i just watched it yesterday.. its continuity of US TV series, Firefly (which i dont know about it too).. only 1 actress i recognize, cute Summer Glau (from Sarah Connor Chronicles) overall, its a very good film. for comparison, the CGI not as good as Star Wars (new trilogy), but the story are much better.. but certainly will not get my vote as 'The Greatest Science Fiction of All Time'.. that's why i totally agree when the movie is called one "The Greatest Science Fiction of All Time"... such a tragedy that the movie flop horribly at the box office...
