QUOTE(Makakeke @ Jul 24 2008, 03:21 PM) Awesome cool! Too bad I'm living 45 mins away from Melbourne City. Are you staying in Melbourne too? used to that was years ago. yeah its kinda inconvenient living in clayton unless u can hook up with someone who has a car. just take a train to south yarra station and hitch a tram to astor.- also recently watched Erin Brockovich. Very good film. sigh...the only thing i can remember of that movie is julia roberts' cleavage |

ah Brandon Fraser, my fave cartoon character. funny enough the only time he came out of the cartoon world and became a real person in GODS and MONSTERS.

tf2 the shanghai scene: is it me or watching the scene on tv is a little less shitty?
tsunami: them koreans can do no wrong. and they can do funny. the teeth pulling, the my sassy girl, the luckiest ******* in the world part were hilarious. don't be put off by what others said that the tsunami is cheap looking. if you buy into the monster from the host, you can definitely buy into this. year one: zzzzzz...go watch life of brian or history of the world part 1 again. star trek - fun flick but wtf with the overdose of lens flare. gets tiresome and hella annoying fast. and pls jj use a vulcan tripod when filming ppl talking. it gets better after the bar scene. didn't really notice them in the cinema probably tgv's shitty projection but viewing at home its pretty obvious. love:
the planet of the apes score homage during the first scene. the beastie boys' sabotage-yeah i'm tom cruise, i'm a vulcan maverick scene. the chinese influenced vulcan theme song. tf2 egypt scene - from shanghai skip to the forest skip to egypt at break neck speed. honestly you don't out miss alot. hey, home viewing is not that confusing but still can't make out which robot is which and devastator is hella shitty. megfox is eye candy bumblebee badass fight and even manage to debone a dog/wolf type of robot |

Mov_freak, you gotta be somewhere around 25-35 who gets all fire up for the mistreatment of a former icon of her generation. we'll always have bettlejuice, heathers, edward scissorshand, and prob i'm pushing it...reality bites.
its a cameo. if she's in there a bit longer then she'll be as annoying as you know what. INCONCEIVABLE! |

QUOTE(Mov_freak @ Oct 8 2009, 09:40 PM) Er... As I have pointed out MANY time, I was there when they were building the great pyramids on the Giza plateau!! come on bro, if you're that ancient, you be referencing chaplin, keaton, lloyd, marlene dietrich, joan crawford, noir, bogart, wilder etc. if you're so called ancient u be praising adventures of robin hood left n right. being ancient is cool, you can give us insight of whats good or whats shitty and you can tell those losers who don't watch anything pre 2000 to go die.So again, I'AM ANCIENT!!!! (Everyone here are ankle biters to me!!! It's ridicules to hire someone so well known just to "do them in". Or maybe JJ Abraham was purging all ill feeling he has towards her because of her... "Issues" Why is it important for people to know how OLD I am. I have admitted over and OVER again that I'm ANCIENT!!! well a cameo is a cameo, like marlon brando in supeman or sam jackson in out of sight, martin sheen in hot shots 2, harrison (fark off) ford in bruno etc anyway watched tony scott's revenge. this is a sequel to top gun and wish megan fox will be as hot as Madeleine Stowe in this when she's 32. as for watchmen, i think it blows and i think Zack Snyder is a hack and the same goes to dark knight n effin nolan and bale is overrated as fark This post has been edited by fragglerock: Oct 9 2009, 12:27 PM |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Oct 21 2009, 10:08 AM) juz watched The Death & Life Of Bobby Z. Totally underrated films. i'll take your word and check out this underrated flick. some critic quoted "Frankly, the action is so cartoonish and the flick so slickly shot, it's like an overproduced pop song. It just feels phony." i say eff em cause recently watched the shitty fast and furious and thought paul walker was badass in that and even manage to overshadow vin "u've lost it" diesel.Paul Walker & lawrence fishburne were great. It has action, comedy etc. Overall a good action flick speaking of direct to video, watched FELON starring stephen dork, a dude who got send to prison because he shot an intruder in his own lawn and val kilmer (why is he in 9 out of 10 dtv?!!) as the mentor inside the joint. its a prison flick where warden is wicked as hell and prisoner helps one another without the need of some ass action. val kilmer is good, the one on one gladiator style fight is relistic very mma'ish, drama ok for a dtv. if you think this is tame and want solid prison drama and has time to spare, watch OZ. |

kobeh, u talkin bout the the disney flick which has a bunch of huskies in the poster right. enrich ur movie experience by hunting down the 1983 movie , nankyoku monogatari aka antartica. awesome score by vangelis.
qf, true what u just wrote but don't blame you for shutting off during fNf. in case u have missed other p.walker experience, running scared and Lazarus Project, both pretty pretty good. |

anticipating: triangle
scared for: avatar: not impress with the trailer. too many action scenes and not enough human elements will bored the shit out of me. the king kong of my generation is still king kong, the peter jackson remake after the explorers reached kk island. but my fave kk is still the 1933 one. gamer: boring! why they chose the 300 dude instead of Jason Statham is beyond me. like Amber Valletta's sweet ass and Michael C. Hall's over the top baddie performance. jennifer's body: love it more comedy than horror. subtitle required to be turned on for this, packed with so much pop culture reference n wit. it also features one of the sexiest kissing scene i've seen in a long time. new moon: cheesy as fark but i rather watch this than the shitty tf2, gi joe. terminator salvation: boring! c bale is on a shitty streak. can he bounce back after the terrific performance he gave in AMERICAN PSYCHO?!! like the one take helicopeter scene, arnold cgi appearance. |
