You should have seen the deleted scene of that scene on the DVD/BD!! tongue.gif

I like the First Shrek, Flush Away and Kung Fu Panda.

Wow, if you haven't watched happy Feet, I can only imagine how you would react after watching it! (I can still remember the FIRST time I watch it!!)

Go on, give yourself a treat and watch it!! nod.gif

I actually rank Shrek 1 in the top of Dreamworks list, and in the same podium as the good Pixar movies. Flushed Away and Happy Feet were good animation but it lacks that touch that Pixar always seem to be able to conjure. KungFu Panda was funny though.

Hmmmm.... In my opinion, what Happy Feet lack in terms of "The Pixar" touch, it made up for the clever use of music!! smile.gif

U should. It deserves re watching! nod.gif

I just watched it on BD again yesterday and the music still gets to me!

The endings.... well let's discuss that if/when Quickfire decides to watch it. Don't want to be accused for spoiling it for him!! tongue.gif

Because that is purely based opinion..so I see nothing wrong if people prefer over x over y and vice versa.  smile.gif

Well... if you can pick Shrek over Toy Story, Finding Nemo over Shark Tale, The Incredibles over Madagascar, Wall-E over Kung Fu Panda, Up over Monsters vs Aliens, then I'm not sure if it's just opinion or suspect taste.

So the music is by John Powell... I like him. Btw you can always use spoiler tags, I dont think I will be able to watch Happy Feet anytime soon. biggrin.gif

You mean Madagascar over The Incredibles and Kung Fu Panda over Wall-E, right!!? smile.gif

Er... sorry, was the above directed at me or kding2??

If directed at me I kinda have stated which animations I like from Dreamworks above, if otherwise, well everybody has an opinion, REALLY (just like 20% of the world likes Speed Racer and 80% of the world has an otherwise opinion!!?! tongue.gif)!!

Well, Makakeke had stated that he wants to re watch HF, so let him watch first before I *spoiler tag* my comments about the ending!! nod.gif

Seriously?hmmm..I actually enjoyed Kungfu Panda over Wall-E, Monsters Vs Aliens over Up and Shark tales over Finding Nemo..and Shrek over Toy Story....In fact, I watched DreamWork series more than one time compare to the Pixar series except Wall-E where I actually watched it more than one time.

so according to your post and reaction, then I guess that I am not the human from this world after all..What a shocking discovery..., am I right? ohmy.gif

It is just a matter of opinion..calling it as suspect taste is just somehow..rude? don't you think so? hmm.gif

Ah...

Added on September 2, 2009, 12:43 pmAfter watching a whole bunch of RomCom (Bride Wars, Made of Honor and My Best Friend's Girlfriend.... [DON'T ASK]) I watched half of I Love You Man.

I have to say, I was a little skeptical about this title (and the whole concept of *groan* bromance) and also (I'm going to be bombarded with LOTS of negativity about this) Paul Rudd (He was AWFUL in H.K.'s Gen-Y Cops, didn't like him after that!!).

Having said the above and having only saw half of the movie, I'm actually liking it. Okay am LIKING IT ALOT!

There I said it, happy!!

Will try and post full details after I had had a chance to watch the whole thing!!

I Love You, Man is by far the funniest movie of the year, even funnier than the much acclaimed The Hangover.

I'm not going to think any less of you as a person in any way in you prefer Dreamworks to Pixar, but it does mean I will approach you for recommendations on movies with extreme trepidation. To me, it's baffling anyone can choose Dreamworks over Pixar... maybe one of two like Kung Fu Panda over the worst of Pixar, but the whole catalogue? Damn! But no, that doesn't make you any less human. lol laugh.gif

Btw I watched a movie yesterday, but I cant seem to remember what movies it was. Oh wait, it was The Boat that Rocked. And it's that forgettable. A fine cast and premise loses absolutely all its steam two-thirds in. I only watched it for Bill Nighy, and he doesnt have much screentime, nor does he sound like he is very interested when he actually appears. The script gets progressively shittier and more contrived by the minute. 3/5, and that's only because of the first hour. Oh I'm positive Emma Thompson is in there as a cameo... though she isnt credited.
