Hi guys, plan to use LG Water Purifier WD518AN in the office.

The benefit of tankless is unlimited water, but if I take a lot of hot water, will the induction heating stop automatically? Or can I get unlimited hot water at 75-85 degrees Celsius continuously?

If the induction heating stops, how long will it take to resume?

TQ.

Hi can take about 1.5L of hot water at one go, after that need wait about 20min for it to cooldown before able to take hot water again biggrin.gif

I visited an LG outlet and shown interest in signing up for WD518AN. However, they insisted that I must drill the hole in the wooden tabletop myself to pass through the water pipes. They also mentioned that many LG technicians do not bring a drill. Is that true?

Since my house has been newly renovated, both my interior designer and I believe it would be best for the LG installer to drill the hole during the installation of the water piping. This way, we can ensure the position is perfect, and the pipes can be hidden behind the water purifier.

Can you please let me know if there are other agents who can assist with this? I'm not comfortable with having the drilling done separately; I would prefer that the LG technician handle everything. My previous experiences with Cuckoo and other water dispenser brands included both the installation of piping and drilling the tabletop hole together.

Wood top LG can drill FOC

If stone top officially LG doesn't drill, but some LG technician willing to do it an a separate fee, directly nego and pay to the technician himself

In case the allocated LG technician doesn't drill, I have contractor to recommend for the job no worry thumbsup.gif

Hello. I've been using wd516an for about 7 months now. Recently I noticed that the cold water isn't as cold as before and it's noticeable on the 2nd cup (my default setting is 250ml). I already replaced the 1st filter last month.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot/fix it?

2 cups of 250ml each? It suppose to get less cold as u dispense more, but should only happen when u dispense more than 1.5L

Suggest contact ur SA and get LG to check and fix it notworthy.gif

Hi everyone,

May I know how's the after sale service of LG Puricare water filter ya? Anyone claim warranty before? Are they fast enough to solve the problem?

Also, for the rental plan, let's say the 7 years plan. After finish paying the machine belong to us or need to give back to LG?

Thank you

Thanks for your reply bro.

You are an agent? I would like to hear from your point of view too, like feedback from your customers in terms of after sale service, especially in warranty and etc, compare to Coway, Cuckoo and etc.

Thank you very much

Very seldom the happy customers leave us a comment; but those very upset ones will be the loudest... notworthy.gif

I'd say all brand are treating their customers good enuf that they are still in business... Sometimes sure got some difficult cases...

For LG, late delivery of filters happens sometimes, faulty machine happens but seldom..

recently my hot water dispense has this funny action that when dispensing, it will randomly like "puff puff" and dispense a bit hot air (meaning water a bit putus release between)

But the machine still dispense quite exact amount of water (250ml selected and 250ml fulfill)

Hi, can you share what's the result after talking with SA?
Mine is same as you. Using it for 6 months. Second cup of 250ml is almost room temperature
