i wonder if pay with QR also blocked if buy non-halal items like alcohol? Card probably make sense but QR how they detect? known list of merchants to block?

Card block list is defined by MCC.QR codes also have MCC but I do not think they block. I could be wrong though. You can try and let us know. |

don't just go deep on those Islamic stuff... why shariah got limitation... needs give freedom. why forced rules on nons who buys alcohol using islamic cards etc. it's borderline R&R... already gotten 1 reported post... don't get this AEON Bank Topic Locked or being Suspended  |

bought something at aeon supermarket today.
tried out using self-service kiosk to scan aeon bank app's aeon member barcode. initially, loading is slow to reveal the barcode. almost gave up. darn annoying sluggishness. tried few times only able to retrieve the member bracode. paid using other "grocery" cc. aeon points not credited yet. i wonder if it's just 1X point since 3X if using Debit Card.  anyhow, was just trying to see if the aeon member barcode works or not. update 20240528: gotten 1X member points today. spent RM100.65, gotten 100 pts.
